Everyone recovered okay? People I know were pretty tired after it (myself included) but overall, no dramas.

he makes the same mistake that almost everyone makes or made at some stage in their lives, of aggressively approaching things from the position that he's right and opposing ideas are wrong.

I never grew out of this.

Yeh we were all fine. The weirdest thing was that 15yo had her symptoms backwards.

Friends and family are anxiously waiting to see if we develop long covid/other long term issues. We're not worried because there's no point worrying about it, if it happens we will have to deal with it, if it doesn't happen and we're worrying about it we're going to be pointlessly anxious forever.

Well there's "aggressive" where you remain polite and calm but persistent in trying to convince the other party, and there's "aggressive" where you're screaming them down and telling them that they're clearly too stupid to live if they are incapable of accepting the fact that you're right and they're wrong I guess, I don't think you're the latter but I guess we don't know about the stuff you don't write about XD
