Unboxing " Wooden Building Blocks" - Educational Toys for My Kids.

in Home Edders3 years ago (edited)

I have seen kids playing with the rectangular wooden blocks. Similar to set of Lego toys which keep the kids busy. It appears to be very costly, and many a times I forget the name of these toys. Finally when I saw it on Flipkart (Indian Online Shopping) platform, I ordered one for my kid.

These toys are super fun play items for kids above 5 years of age. Set them up in a row or make different shapes, then push one, to watch the tumbling falling wooden pieces one after the another. It is like chain effect of the dominoes tumbling over like a race.

After waiting for 2 weeks finally, I receive them today. I thought it would be packaged in box but on opening the brown carton, we found there were no packaging done, and item was wrapped under the transparent plastic.

The packaging has 120 pcs colourful, wooden blocks. Each of the pieces were smooth and polished and doesn't seems to harm the kids. They looks perfect to play with. The set contains 12 differnt colours and 10 pieces of each colours. There were option of getting more blocks, but for a starter I begin with 120 blocks.

As soon as I open pack, I made sure to check any damages on any blocks. All pieces are of same sizes shape. It allows to make large and solid structure, which keeps the kids busy with their imagination and focus on making a good structure. I find these toys more effective as compared to letting them hooked to mobile screen.

Playing with this building blocks, allows the kids to concentrate and also help them to develop sense of creativity. My kids get excited at first, without knowing it's usage, she started to put the blocks randomly.

Then I showed her YouTube video, how things are done with the building blocks. She grasped it quickly and after a good amount of time, started making like the one she watched in video. A round shape ...structure, with each colour one after the another precisely.

It was a good try, and 8bfpund each of the blocks were perfectly places to form a better chain effect on tumbling one in the begining.

Finally, she was excited to start the chain effect. She pushed the first one , however it was not success and only 2 blocks fallen. Then I asked her to push again and she did, watching each of thr blocks randomly...in a synchronized way.

She was super thrilled to watch the fallen blocks. And I am happy to find a new playi toy for my kids. For sure she would be busy with the different colours and won't spend time watching mobile or playing unnecessary games. For sure I would be more interested to see her creativity style with these blocks. Gradually she would be great in making different syructure.

Peace

Do you know there's a Toys on Hive community? I feel like that might be a better fit for toy unboxing and reviews.

Honestly, I am not aware about....thanks for letting g me know for next time....

No problem.

There are so many communities now, it's often worth doing a quick search.

This is the main issue...there are so many. And few are identical of one another. ... but DYOR is not only limited to crypto only 🙂....surely I keep this in mind..

Which front-end do you use? If you use Peakd.com, here is the community link: https://peakd.com/c/hive-173630/created

Communinty links are a bit different for each front-end, so if you use a different one then the best approach would be to go to the communities page and search using the word "toys"
