RE: May Homeschool Miscellany

She is an absolute delight XD

a brindle and white bitebitebitey delight to go with our ginger and white bitebitebite and the tabite who doesn't actually bite much even when playing, I just decided she should have a rhyming bite themed nickname too

Her name is Aeris, which is the Final Fantasy spelling. The correct (I guess?) spelling is Eris but my phone apparently couldn't cope with that and kept trying to correct it to Eros and I didn't want to be accidentally telling people that was the puppy's name XD Eris is the goddess of chaos according to my daughter who had been looking names up the most determinedly in the car (technically "strife and discord" but near enough?). Think we may have created a self-fulfilling prophecy, puppy is very much chaos on legs XD She is so much fun though. Sorry I didn't realise that bit would be confusing, I did also write it around midnight though ^_^;

J and I were really not happy with the election results, we wanted a hung parliament or minor party government.

we'll just ignore all the "interesting" stories we heard from the scrutineers as the media were insanely quick to start blathering crap about how all the minor party scrutineers were without exception making things up to try to cause drama for no reason

Oh well, next time Gadget XD

OMG! I'm so unaware. I thought it was a hung parliament. I thought the Greens and Teal Independents got more seats than ever. Maybe I looked too early and never looked again? Dang. Hung parliaments is the when the work gets done.

Ah, Aeris! Great name for a delightful bitey pup!
I may have found we have a barn cat yesterday. Won't let me go anywhere near it still, but we're making progress.

I stopped paying attention when there was magically a Labor majority (I say "magically" because there were some "interesting" stories coming there too, sure it's all "above board") but from a very vague memory I think the Greens and teals did do better than they normally do.

Barn cats are like that apparently XD Are you feeding it? And even if you are feeding it some of them will be touchy forever and some of them do get to a stage where you're allowed to pat them a little bit. Good luck :D
