Hello Amazing #HiveEdders, it's been a long holiday over here for me with so many activities to do offline, thankfully, I am back here to share my experiences with my children to you all.
First off, a slightly belated but heartfelt Happy New Year to everyone! ๐ Even if it's been over two weeks since the clock struck midnight, the New Year spirit is still alive and vibrant over here!
So we've started our homeschooling for the session.I finally reunited with my kiddos after what felt like an eternityโthree long weeks!
When I got there I noticed that they wouldn't want to come out, which was so surprising to me, I had to wonder what I did that made them so afraid of stepping out but after a while and some moments of teasing and begging (oh well, that's children for you๐) they came out. They told me, "Madam, we didn't want to come out because we didn't want you to see our faces; we have barbed our hair."
I laughed so hard and told them, they were beautiful that way, whether with their hair being plaited or being barb".
After our hilarious hair reveal, we snapped some fun pictures, said a little prayer, and dove right into revising what we learned last term. I checked their scheme of work, and we decided to start our learning journey with "Reading and Spelling." ๐โจ
Since it was our first meeting, we didn't spend much time but then I had to bond more with them by asking them to write about How they spent their holidays. They all wrote amazing and interesting essays, which I read, did a few corrections, and smiled all through while reading.
So here I am, thrilled to announce that weโre back in action with our homeschooling adventure! I truly believe this session is going to be a fantastic ride! Letโs keep pushing to do even better together! ๐
P.S: My Kids did outstandingly well in their results and performance. I nurture and cultivate only excellence and I couldn't be prouder to be their teacher.๐คฉ
