A mid term break is a time where schools take about 3-5 days off school activities. During this time, children are not allowed to go to school, they stay at home. Also, they children are given what we call "Mid Term Project" which consist of home tasks relating to academics.
In my school, during the morning devotion, the children came out from different classes to do what we call "subject presentation". A subject presentation is an activity where a child comes up on stage and talk about what he/she read in his/her book concerning a particular subject. The child will talk about the topic he/she understands the most and present it to the whole school. We are doing this to train the children to be bold and be able to speak confidently in front of crowd. This will make them have confidence and boldness.
As teachers we are not only given the responsibility of teaching but we are empowered to raise leaders who will stand up tomorrow and represent the truth. We groom children on how to speak well in public and behave excellently in character and actions.
I will use this mid term break to set the examination questions in my subjects for my students and get to rest as I prepare for next week.
Thank you for reading.❤️✨
This isn't really focused at homeschooling or helpful to those homeschooling. For this kind of post the general Education community would be a better fit.
