Experiment 1- Refraction: / Experimento 1- Refracción:

We drink a glass or transparent plastic glass. Place a coin on the table and on this the glass. In this first point we can notice that clearly by the light the coin is noticeable, but what happens when we add water to the glass? It gives the impression that the coin has disappeared. Looking at it from the side causes that effect, although it is still in the same place.

Tomamos un vaso de cristal o de plástico transparente. Colocamos una moneda en la mesa y sobre este el vaso. En este primer punto podemos notar que claramente por la luz se nota la moneda, pero ¿Qué pasa cuando agregamos agua al vaso? Da la impresión que la moneda ha desaparecido. Mirarla del lado lateral causa ese efecto, aunque esta sigue en el mismo lugar.

Experiment 2- Surface tension: / Experimento 2- Tensión superficial:

The next experiment consisted of placing two glasses one full of water and another without liquid on one side, with a straw introduce into the one that has water and at the time of filling the straw with water with the finger cover and take to the other glass where we remove our finger and this is passed from one place to another. When performing this experiment my girls noticed that they can transport water without it spilling from one side to the other, knowing how to do this process.

El siguiente experimento consistía en colocar dos vasos uno lleno de agua y otro sin líquido a un lado, con un pitillo introducir en aquel que tiene agua y al momento de llenarse el pitillo de agua con el dedo tapar y llevar hacia el otro vaso donde retiramos nuestro dedo y esta se pasa de un lugar a otro. Al realizar este experimento mis niñas notaron que pueden transportar agua sin que se derrame de un lado al otro, sabiendo hacer este proceso.

Experiment 3- Bubbles in water: / Experimento 3- Burbujas en el agua:

With the help of the straw my girls began to blow and bubble in the water. Learning that air compresses against the surface of the water that is at rest causing bubbling that causes water to rise.

Con ayuda del pitillo mis niñas comenzaron a soplar y hacer burbujas en el agua. Aprendiendo que el aire se comprime contra la superficie del agua que esta en reposo causando burbujeo que hace que agua se levante.

Experiment 4- Pure water and salt water: / Experimento 4- Agua pura y agua con sal:

Fill two glasses of water. One of these must be pure water and the other we add a very good amount of salt that must be stirred very well in it. Then we place some watercolor paint to stir, what happens in this experiment is that that glass with pure water dissolves easily, while in the other one that contains salt the paint is almost not mixed with water.

Llena dos vasos de agua. Uno de estos debe ser de agua pura y el otro agregamos una muy buena cantidad de sal que se debe revolver muy bien en ella. Luego colocamos algo de pintura de acuarela para revolver, lo que ocurre en este experimento es que aquel vaso con agua pura se disuelve fácilmente, mientras que en el otro que contiene sal casi no se mezcla la pintura con el agua.

Experiment 5- Accession: / Experimento 5- Adhesión:

This was undoubtedly the favorite of my girls the one of Greater impact! Even I loved the result of this experiment. We use some small plates not so flat, we put water and a little coloring.

Este sin duda alguna fue el favorito de mis niñas el de ¡Mayor impacto! Hasta yo amé el resultado de este experimento. Usamos unos platos pequeños no tan llanos, colocamos agua y un poco de colorante.

I made in white sheets of recycling some little flowers to which the tips bend. These had to be placed on the water and being in contact with it, they opened immediately. Something completely beautiful!

Realicé en hojas blancas de reciclaje unas florecitas a las cuales les doble las puntas. Estas debían ser colocadas sobre el agua y al estar en contacto con ella, se abrían de inmediato. ¡Algo completamente bello!
