"The Vowels" Part # 2 //"Las Vocales" Parte #2

- Identify the shape and sound of vowels.

Identifying the vowels are a fundamental part for the beginning of reading in children, therefore it is important to know how to teach them.
Always maintain a dialogue with the child to find out if he is correctly connecting the vowels with the initial of the object's name.
To ask:

• What is the name of the object?
• What letter does your name start with?
• What is that vowel?
• Can you show it to me?

- Identificar la forma y el sonido de las vocales.

Identificar las Vocales son parte fundamental para el inicio de la lectura en los niños, por tanto es importante saberlas enseñar.
Mantenga siempre un diálogo con el niño para indagar si esta relacionando de forma correcta las vocales con la inicial del nombre del objeto.
Preguntar:
¿Cómo se llama es objeto?
¿Con que letra inica su nombre?
¿Cúal es esa letra?,
¿Me la puedes mostrar?

1. Classification of objects according to their vowel

With these two activities the child will learn to identify the sound of each vowel, when she pronounces the name of the objects or images that are related.

• Stick adhesive tape on the floor forming 5 squares and place a vowel on each one. The child in this case should look for toys or objects in the house whose name begins with a vowel.
• Then place each object in the corresponding place.

1. Clasificación de objetos según su vocal

Con estas dos actividades el niño aprendera a identificar el sonido de cada vocal, cuando pronuncie el nombre de los objetos o imagenes que se relacionan.

• Pegue en el piso cinta adheciva formando 5 cuadros y en cada uno colocar una vocal. El niño en este caso debería de buscar juguetes u objetos de la casa que su nombre empiecen con vocal,.
• Luego ubicar cada objeto en el lugar correspondiente.

• The child will locate each image relating the name of the vowel, to be more fun you can use a conometer to measure the time it does.

• Traza en una cartulina un cuadrado de 5 x 5 cuadros y en los cuadros del lado izquiero escribe las vocales. Recorta o dibuja diferentes imagenes que su nombre inicie en vocal. (En este caso sería 5 imagenes por cada vocal.
• El niño ubicara cada imagen relacionando el nombre de la vocal, para ser màs divertido puedes utilizar un conometro para medir el tiempo que lo hace.
