Hello, this is Yasser Alaa from Iraq,and being from Iraq means a ton of things, One of these things is we never ever lived a boredom period of our live.

I was born in 1994, and all I can remember is war, and streets war, and civil war, I remember back in 2006, my school mates and I had to develop a new strategy every week to avoid Al-Qaida's sniper, just to reach the school, entering the school was the task of the day, and those who fail this task sent straight to the other life.

that was only one thing, never mention what my father had to do to reach his job, and my mother to reach hers, and so one.

Iraq should be the holy grail for the artists, and authors specially, because there all kinds of stories happened here waiting for the talented writer to convert them into a great novel.

and yet, you don't see our writers compete for international literature competitions, and that's for a lot of reasons, one of them is the publishing system here, the publishing houses will publish any kind of garbage for a 1000$, and the writer will get only 50 copy of that, and the rest is for the publishing house to sell and make profit of, + the 1000$ fee.

I see the system is unfair, so I decided NOT to publish my novels through them, Instead, I will do this here via HIVE, So that I don't worry about the copyrights and these stuff.

I would like you to pardon my humble designing skills, I wish the quality of my words will
compensate that.

This novel's name is ' War, and other details' written by me in a self narration, which it means the story will be told by the main charterer.

I chose this method because the story is about a soldier got pissed off because of the amount of wars he had to fight!, so I thought making him telling the story will be more affecting than telling the story in the 3rd person method.

as time goes by, this soldier keeps questioning basic things, like the loyalty and home and the need to fight for others misunderstands, specially if they are able to be solved in a peaceful ways.

I also chose an imaginary countries, like Ustio , which is the country our hero from.

the Novel will be published in parts, one part each day.

Finally, I really wish that you guys this novel meets your expectations about young Iraqi Writers.
