Thanks for keeping the light on @samsmith1971.

I'm not in a perfect place right now. My wife had an adverse reaction to her diabetes medication but is out of the hospital after a week of observation. Her mom went to the hospital for a back problem but got multiple fractures on her right hip while admitted. I won't bore you with the details of negligence on the hospital's part.

I had my last cataract surgery yesterday morning. Cataracts were a gift from my uncontrolled diabetes.

Yet, I'm positive there's a silver lining ahead. I'll get back to writing. I need to get my life together. Sorry for being away for so long.

    hi Felix. I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through a tough patch. Sending hugs to you and your family. That must have been scary for all of you!! 😞 We all have times when life off-chain pulls us away and we need time to pause and reflect too. Come back when you are ready. You are missed on Hive and in dreem-wotw. I do hope that you all recover well from your respective medical issues. How are your eyes feeling today?
