It was the year 4500, humanity was still living peacefully in their daily routines, but they did not know that their lives were about to change because of a strange phenomenon that threatened their lives. The sun, that great star, was about to expel a huge solar explosion.

This great solar explosion, which would bring with it an intense wave of fire, would make humanity extinct and that is why the most advanced countries of the earth, have arranged the Exodus plan, which consisted of making a migration of four million people to a colony on Mars. Scientists have calculated that the great solar explosion will not have such an aggressive effect on the red planet as it will have on Earth.

For years, the colonization of the red planet had been hidden and thanks to scientific advances, an area of the planet was completely habitable. The Red City had been built years ago, it was a very technological area accompanied by nature and with its main feature, a large energy shield that protected the city from the inclemencies of the red planet, making life sustainable inside the dome.

Some details were missing, but human beings could already live in this great city, which would welcome the lucky ones among billions. Modern houses made with the material of the Martian soil decorated the city, surprisingly this material was much harder than the concrete of the earth. Dark energy had been a great discovery and now unlimited energy could be created from a small part, everything in the city was powered by dark energy.

To create vegetation, advanced genetic techniques were used to adapt plants from Earth to the Martian soil. The small colonies that were already living there were happy because nothing was awakened and all the garbage was recycled for a new use.

With the Red City ready to receive the four million people, the governments began to select the people who would go to the red planet, for obvious reasons, the new home had to be inhabited by the best of the human race, so the most notable scientists of the planet, had their place assured, professionals with excellent resumes, workers with high capacities, among others.

At first the selection was done in secret, but the news soon got out, so riots all over the planet were not long in coming. The few remaining world leaders in charge of the Exodus operation had to hide the ships in secret locations and began to speed up the selection of people.

The solar explosion was only weeks away from reaching the earth with indestructible force, while wars and death were rampant on the already destroyed planet earth. Ships were leaving the earth as they filled up, the lucky ones were leaving that hell, which was about to be exterminated by the sun.

Only one day before the solar explosion reached the planet, the ships were still leaving towards the red planet, but the rebels found the launching points of the missing ships. Great violence broke out among the millions of people who wanted to leave the planet, to save themselves. Some ships escaped the violence, but many more were destroyed.

The pitched battle continued between the armies and the rebels, some managed to take some ships and save their loved ones, while they died in the great sacrifice. The time was over and the last ships were leaving late due to the violent battles generated at the take-off points. Millions lay lifeless everywhere. The human race had annihilated itself, before the great solar explosion.

As the last ships left the dying planet, the fire wave caused by the solar explosion penetrated the earth's atmosphere, painting the skies a deep orange and a terrible heat that began to burn everything in its path. The survivors of the planet were burned, and the entire planet was engulfed in flames, from the ships the survivors watched as the earth died along with the billions of people.

The human race had a new home and started from scratch, to build a better society and return to the values of the ancestors. The super speed ships arrived on Mars within a week and were received with great cordiality by the older colonists.

Now, the human race was reborn in a small city on the planet Mars, the Red City.

Esta gran explosión solar que traería con sigo una onda de fuego intensa, haría que la humanidad se extinguiera y por eso los países más avanzados de la tierra, han dispuesto el plan Exodus, que consistía en hacer una migración de cuatro millones de personas, a una colonia en Marte. Los científicos han calculado que la gran explosión solar, tendrá un efecto no tan agresivo en el planeta rojo, como lo será en la tierra.

Desde hacía años, se había ocultado la colonización del planeta rojo y gracias a los avances científicos, una zona del planeta era completamente habitable. La ciudad Roja se había construido años atrás, era una zona muy tecnológica acompañada de naturaleza y con su principal característica, un gran escudo de energía que protegía a la ciudad de las inclemencias del planeta rojo, haciendo la vida sustentable dentro de domo.

Faltaban algunos detalles, pero los seres humanos ya podían vivir en esa gran ciudad, que acogería a los afortunados de entre miles de millones. Casas modernas hechas con el material del suelo marciano decoraban la ciudad, sorprendentemente este material era mucho más duro que el concreto de la tierra. La energía oscura había sido un gran descubrimiento y ahora se podía crear energía ilimitada a partir de una pequeña parte, todo en la ciudad funcionaba con energía oscura.

Para crear vegetación se usaron técnicas de genética avanzada para adaptar las plantas de la tierra al suelo marciano. Las pequeñas colonias que ya estaban viviendo ahí eran felices porque nada se despertaba y toda la basura era reciclada para darle un nuevo uso.

Con la ciudad Roja lista para recibir a los cuatro millones de personas, los gobiernos empezaron a seleccionar a las personas que irían al planeta rojo, por obvias razones, el nuevo hogar debía estar habitado por lo mejor de la raza humana, así que los científicos más notables del planeta, tenían asegurado su cupo, profesionales con excelentes currículum, trabajadores de altas capacidades, entre otros más.

Al principio la selección se hacía en secreto, pero la noticia pronto se conoció, así que los disturbios por todo el planeta no se hicieron esperar. La gente se levantó en contra de los gobiernos y uno a uno empezaban a caer, sumergiendo al planeta en una total anarquía. Los pocos líderes mundiales que quedaban a cargo de la operación Exodus, tuvieron que ocultar las naves en lugares secretos y empezaron a agilizar la selección de las personas.

La explosión solar estaba a solo semanas de llegar a la tierra con una fuerza indestructible, en tanto, las guerras y la muerte proliferaban en el ya destruido planeta tierra. Las naves salían de la tierra conforme se iban llenando, los afortunados dejaban aquel infierno, que estaba a punto de ser exterminado por el astro rey.

A un solo día de llegar la explosión solar al planeta, las naves seguían saliendo con dirección al planeta rojo, pero los rebeldes dieron con los puntos de lanzamiento de las naves que faltaban. Una gran violencia se desató entre las millones de personas que querían salir del planeta, para salvarse. Algunas naves escaparon a la violencia, pero muchas más fueron destruidas.

La batalla campal seguía entre los ejércitos y los rebeldes, algunos lograron tomar unas naves y salvar a sus seres queridos, mientras morían en el gran sacrificio. El tiempo se había terminado y las últimas naves salían atrasadas por las batallas violentas generadas en los puntos de despegue. Millones yacían sin vida por todos lados. La raza humana se había aniquilado a sí misma, antes que la gran explosión solar.

Mientras las últimas naves salían del moribundo planeta, la onda de fuego causada por la explosión solar penetraba la atmósfera de la tierra, pintando de un anaranjado intenso los cielos y un calor terrible que empezó a quemar todo a su paso. Los supervivientes del planeta quedaron calcinados, y todo el planeta se envolvió en llamas, desde las naves los sobrevivientes miraban como la tierra moría junto con las miles de millones de personas.

Ahora la raza humana había conseguido un nuevo hogar y empezar desde cero, a construir una sociedad mejor y retomar los valores de los antepasados. Las naves con la súper velocidad llegaron en una semana a Marte y fueron recibidos con mucha cordialidad por parte de los colonos más antiguos.

Ahora la raza humana volvía a renacer en una pequeña ciudad en el planeta Marte, la ciudad Roja.
