She was worried because it was Halloween night, and black cats were inexplicably disappearing. Socrates' favorite milk was on the plate. It was getting late, and the black cat was nowhere to be seen. 🤺 Prompt 🤺

THE PROMPT IS JUST A GUIDELINE. A DIRECTION. DON'T FEEL INTIMIDATED BY IT! YOU GOT THIS!

🎥 Genre: Thriller
🎨 Theme: Hunt

✅ WHAT THIS PROMPT IS: A generic, thrilling description of something/someone going after something/someone else.

❌ WHAT THIS PROMPT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE: Elk hunting with the bros.

While at first glance this prompt might seem restrictive, I think you'll find it to be rather broad. It's very directional. And we here at S&S believe in helping you all become the best version of the author you are. This prompt falls into those guidelines perfectly.

May the odds - and your creative energy - be ever in your favor!

We'd like to give out a big shout-out and thank you to Ecency for sponsoring this contest! 🤗

A big thank you to @melinda010100 as well for the seamless communication.

Check out the Ecency front-end and/or mobile app for more information on how to use your points.

Thank you friends for highlighting the story among the winners. I'm so glad you liked it, I had fun writing the cute kitten's story😹

Hugs!

Thank you for voting me winner last time !

I had real fun with this prompt, not sure if it still counts as totally on-topic because I turned it around and wrote from the perspective of the hunted.

In this case, the victim is Marv the Magnificent, one of the recurrent characters in my D&D setting (and, I must admit, one I've become quite attached to, he's so much fun to write about 😀)

I forgot to mention... I checked the word count, and after a few judicial cuts before hitting the Publish button, I think it comes out at exactly 1500 words excluding intro and fluff....
