Why are my posts showing up on other websites?

When you post content using PeakD.com your content shows up on other websites.
Because when you click "Publish" on PeakD.com what we do is help you add content to an OPEN database called the Hive Blockchain.

Keep in mind PeakD itself is not adding the content to the blockchain we are helping YOU add it there through whatever login method you are using... you are signing (approving) the transaction that puts it there.

Anything that is on the Hive Blockchain is available to many other websites.
Think of it somewhat like podcasts that use a central repository and yet many many applications and websites pull from that repository to then allow their own users to access those podcasts. So in a way publishing a post is like adding it to an open repository for any other application to present to their users.
