NSFW = Not Safe For Work
It is also known as content not suitable for kids... or adult content.

The idea is that content creators are supposed to give a topic tag to content that is normally considered Not Safe For Work. Meaning people could get in trouble for viewing the content on a work or school environment.

Once example is nudity or partial nudity. But it extends beyond that ... again it's what you believe would not be suitable for children or for people at work or school environment.

PeakD and Users everywhere expect you to tag your own content.

So please give the "nsfw" topic to any posts that is not safe for work environments, school environments or for children.

  1. Profile Menu
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Content" tab
  4. NSFW is the first item in the content tab

THREE NSFW SETTINGS
  1. HIDE: Means you won't even see the posts show up anywhere
  2. CLICK TO SHOW: Means the content of the post won't be visible until you click to view more
  3. SHOW: Means these posts will always show the content without having to click to view more

LOCK FEATURE : "Parental Feature"

For parents or any user who never wants an account to see any NSFW content they can lock the setting. Set it to HIDE then click lock. You'll need the ACTIVE key to Unlock this setting.
So this could act as a way for parents to more safely allow their kids to use PeakD.com if parents don't want their children viewing adult or NSFW content.

PLEASE NOTE: Please understand that this system requires content creators to classify their own content and no one else can classify their content for them. Also different users have different opinions on what is not safe for work or children.
So this system is not a fool proof way to avoid content you may consider "not safe for work" or "not safe for children".

Also there is plenty of content not suitable for young children that is still likely suitable for work and won't be tagged as NSFW. So parents should make their own decisions.
