dCITY is a city simulator game based on Hive-Engine Non Fungible Tokens. The NFTs represent assets in the game. Each individual card a building, citizen, etc., and the total collection of your cards is your city. dCITY allow players to optimize their cities in terms of buildings, population, and income. The aim of the game is to buy new buildings, but also use diplomacy and tact with fellow players to achieve the materials you need to grow and prosper. Obviously, there are several ways you can approach this, but we’ll let you learn them on your own and test them out.

This is a numbers game, but with the added randomness of society. There will be events which can have either a positive or negative impact on your city, depending on how your city is built. Choose wisely when helping or refusing to help another player. They might need your help today, but you never know when you might need their help in the future.

Race for SIM Income Leaderboard is Much Harder Now

I was reading my friend's @dewabrata post about his first day on Dcity, and realize how much the race for top 400 leaderboard of SIM income has already rise a lot. Throwback to my first post about progressing to the leaderboard of SIM Income on https://peakd.com/hive-198197/@ramadhanight/my-progress-into-400-sim-income-leaderboard, it only takes 2 SIM income to join the top 400 !

Now let's take a look at the current leaderboard

Well, now 12 SIM income didn't even guarantee a top 400 ! This mean the requirement are multiplied by 6 times ! Such a crazy ammount. I guess people are attracted to the game know ? Knowing how it's easy to get high amount of APR by farming the young citizen daily.

Some people even got multipple ID ! But I don't think it's allowed to claim the young citizen with multiple ID (I try to check on the bot command as well, and not found these ID)

Now I take a look at my next target for top 300, and found it's significantly improved as well. I saw few days ago it just need around 18 SIM for the top 300 ! I questioned myself now, there comes many players or maybe their income was stuck like I did before and they all fixed now so the SIM income leaderboard are much harder ? Well, whatever it is, I need to fight harder now, even for just surviving for the top 400 😅

I am stuck on 370 position now, after selling some young citizen. I will try getting more tax refund as the replacement.

Get Park as My New Addition

Park is my new addition. This will help my people to release stress 😅 . This park help my city with 2 population addition, and 5 popularity. But it required 1 workers, so there is like just 1 population addition.

Anyway, I still haven't claim my first student because it's ruins that comes today which I still haven't yet. Let's hope for a better roll tomorrow !

I also have more university after win another auction ! It's a good addition to increase the chance transforming the student when I have them ! Or I could put it on market with higher price. It's always feels great to win an auction 😊

What I've Learned So Far

As always, before I close this blog, I wan't to share one last important things for the new people that want to play this game and for myself as reminder. I would like to put some point that I've learned about this game :
1.Citizen have it's own life, once they meet their limit of NFT minted, the old one will dead. So it's better bought the newest id of citizen;
2.Building have no expired, so they will long last;
3.Put NFT on market and you will lose it's effect on your city. This can help you to offload the dead citizen or other cards with negative effect;
4.Top 400 from SIM Income will get you free mint for the young citizen NFT from Dcity discord channel using --claim at the bot-commands section.
5.Always look at ID of citizen when you want to bought them, because the system won't remove them even they are dead already on selling process, you might get dead people instead.
6.You can check your city value by using !city_value on Dcity discord - cityhelper channel.
7.You can do a simulation before getting a card to see it's effect with simulation tools at the city-simulation tab on Dcity site.
8.There is auction function where we could get cards with lower price than the market.
9.Beware of social support for each citizen, because it will reduce your income!
10.Tax refund on church is active even the cards is inactive.
11.University is needed to transform the student into student (debt) that can be transformed into another NFT with higher value. The more university, the higher transforming chance !
12.Random building check are really random. Sometimes it can show the same building 2 days in a row, but they are not stuck and can changed on the next day !

Next Step

It's simple, I will get more building for better chance getting the student, and more tax refund and income to survive the SIM rank leaderboard !
