dCITY is a city simulator game based on Hive-Engine Non Fungible Tokens. The NFTs represent assets in the game. Each individual card a building, citizen, etc., and the total collection of your cards is your city. dCITY allow players to optimize their cities in terms of buildings, population, and income. The aim of the game is to buy new buildings, but also use diplomacy and tact with fellow players to achieve the materials you need to grow and prosper. Obviously, there are several ways you can approach this, but we’ll let you learn them on your own and test them out.

This is a numbers game, but with the added randomness of society. There will be events which can have either a positive or negative impact on your city, depending on how your city is built. Choose wisely when helping or refusing to help another player. They might need your help today, but you never know when you might need their help in the future.

Join the SIM Millionaire

I already got 0.155 Hive for the 1012185 SIM Power hold. Beside the APR on the term of liquid hive, I also aim for another benefit of SIMillionaire Club, which is the free Student NFT.

In order to get it, we can use the claim on DCity Discord, but there is requirement of it. For the student NFT, there is a random building check and if you have those building, you will pass and get the student NFT. But if you haven't the cards, you must wait for another day to try another random building check. On my first check as SIMillionaire member, and failed the test because I haven't got the parking yet. So yeah, we need a lot of collection to get higher chance of getting the free Student NFT.

Ice Cream Shop as New Addition

Well, Ice cream shop is my next added collection. I actually thinking about the criteria I will use for add new collection, wether try getting the cheaper or the most effective. I finally decide to get the building that I think is most effective that I haven't got, because this way, I could try to build my city better when I add more population. With effective cards, I can get better income potential, and that's why Ice cream shop is my choice.

Beside the ice cream shop, I also get 2 eco activist in order to balance my income and tax refund, because I still have some income that can get the refund, and I think eco activist is the most cheaper way to get the tax refund.

Eco activist gives me 2 tax refund and 1 population addition. But it has negative effect with -2 popularity. But since my city is small, those effect are not significance.

What I've Learned So Far

As always, before I close this blog, I wan't to share one last important things for the new people that want to play this game and for myself as reminder. I would like to put some point that I've learned about this game :
1.Citizen have it's own life, once they meet their limit of NFT minted, the old one will dead. So it's better bought the newest id of citizen;
2.Building have no expired, so they will long last;
3.Put NFT on market and you will lose it's effect on your city. This can help you to offload the dead citizen or other cards with negative effect;
4.Top 400 from SIM Income will get you free mint for the young citizen NFT from Dcity discord channel using --claim at the bot-commands section.
5.Always look at ID of citizen when you want to bought them, because the system won't remove them even they are dead already on selling process, you might get dead people instead.
6.You can check your city value by using !city_value on Dcity discord - cityhelper channel.
7.You can do a simulation before getting a card to see it's effect with simulation tools at the city-simulation tab on Dcity site.
8.There is auction function where we could get cards with lower price than the market.
9.Beware of social support for each citizen, because it will reduce your income!
10.Tax refund on church is active even the cards is inactive.
11.University is needed to transform the student into student (debt) that can be transformed into another NFT with higher value. The more university, the higher transforming chance !

Next Step

More and mpre building NFT will added to my city, and while doing it, I also planned to get through top 300 on income rank in order to increase my daily rank rewards.
