Farming business in a large scale is a very challenging one and capital intensed plus alot of dedication and consistency need to be put into it,
I may not be doing it in a large scale yet, but my intentions are clear, to keep rearing them for the year, infact thats my utmost year 2023 resolution
I've myself braced up for whatever challenges that come with it.
So i got the first batch of the broiler birds at (a day old), shocking to know that this chicks are at the high side interms of price because of the high demands! I guess its a business everyone ventures into now, making the birds to be scarce.
Long story short, I got the birds
'I called them young shall grow'
Already settling in their pen,.
I will ve looking forward to see what would become of them after some few months

I know its an old post...
But curious how the chickens are doing? I didn't see any follow up posts. Also you mentioned that the chicks were on the high side for price...but didn't mention the price :) Also, what country are you raising the chickens in?
