As promised in my post here and at least @cryptoandcoffee showed interest in the topic, more Leverage Notes are coming:

Leverage Notes #2 — AI doesn’t replace sales judgment. It exposes weak patterns faster.
One underestimated effect of AI in sales isn’t better speed or automation.
It’s accountability and clarity.
For years, teams could reasonably say things like:
“We didn’t see the risk coming.”
“The data wasn’t conclusive.”
“The forecast felt strong.”
AI changes that.
Today, weak signals often show up much earlier in the process:
repeated meetings without progress
stakeholders who never escalate beyond the initial conversation
opportunities where no economic buyer is visible
pipelines that look healthy only because no one questions them
I’ve worked with teams that have access to the same AI tools, yet behave very differently.
The split wasn’t technology — it was judgment.
- Who was willing to disqualify a campaign early?
- Who chose honest signals over hope?
- Who corrected the plan when patterns diverged?
AI doesn’t make you smarter.
It shortens the distance between bad judgment and visible consequence.
That’s leverage — if you’re willing to look.
Depends on country of origin - meine Bewerbungen deutsche Firmen alle gestopped, da passiert nichts, null nada niente
I recognize all of what you are saying and used to dread any type of meeting because the majority of time it was a total waste of time. Everyone knew this and it was just a process that everyone did because that is what most companies do. I could no longer work with others and why I decided to go on my own. I need to look at using AI more seriously.
I'm having next week a management meeting in the USA exactly on this topic. Have some ideas to implement AI, and to cut procedures, that are pointless.
good luck, curious to hear then what the cuts been towards AI - a lot of pro and cons but depending on industry, job area and obviously which AI system or combination you are using.
