Hello, Namaste, Ram Ram, Sastriyakal to all Hive users. Today I'll tell you about my visit to the Jageshwar temple and why it feels special there. I have a visit to the Jageshwar temple in the month of November for the purpose of visiting my village, as I have earlier told. It is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage center that is around 2,500 years old. And it is situated in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 1870 meters(approx). There is also one big tree that is situated inside the temple, which is believed to be the goddess Parvati and god Mahadev, and it is a very large tree, and I felt that we are like an ant in front of that tree. There are many small temples inside the temple, and there are specific temples for gods such as Jagnath Temple (considered a Jyotirlinga), Mrityunjay Temple, Hanuman Temple, Surya Temple, Neel Kanth Temple, Navagrahas Temple, Pushti Mata Temple, Lakulisa Temple, Kedarnath Temple, Navadurga Temple, Batuk Bhairav Temple, Dandeshwar Temple, Chandi-ka-Temple, Kuber Temple, and the Vriddha Jageshwar Temple.

It is believed that these temples were constructed during mediviel period. In fact, my ancestors also come from Jageshwar, and my Tauji was telling me that our ancestors also played a part in the construction of that temple, and our ancestors also participated in that. There are many temples there that give us morals or spiritual lessons. I also got to know why Kuber is termed as "lord of wealth" as they were a devil or asur. My tauji told me that Lord Kuber was the brother of Ravan, and the gods stole all the wealth and gold lord Kuber had, so from that period, Kuber is known as "The lord of wealth". There are many monkeys in the temple that also snatch away the prashad you have purchased from the market or brought from home. They were being crazy to snatch the prashad from the worshipers of the temple. I fear monkeys because they can also harm us or bite us, so I keep following my elder cousin and my bhaiya, and we both went in water. I don't know about bhaiya, but I felt so cold. We were making a tower of stones over a stone, and we made a pile of 7-8 stones together. After coming out of the water, my feet became red and felt cold. I also explored the beauty of nature, and the water there was very cold because it was flowing from the roots of Devdar trees. In November, it was as cold as it is currently in Haldwani, and in December and January, it is cold, and the full sunlight rarely comes due to the long Devdar trees, enabling the sunrays to enter and make a shadow. The place has real beauty in itself. And I forgot to tell you that there is a fact that the diya held in the hand of god Jagnath in the main temple of Jageshwar will touch the ground, the Kaliyug will end. Whatever it was, it was a nice experience to share with you. So for today, this much only till further goodbye.
