Today, when I woke up and headed over to Splinterlands, I played a few battles. After that, I went to my TribalDex account to check my tokens. There, I realized that one of the tokens from a game I play called Golem OverLord had increased by 44%.
Because of this price increase, I took the opportunity to sell a small portion of my tokens and exchanged them for DEC tokens.
After that, I used the DEC tokens to buy seven foundation chests in the hope of winning something interesting. Today, luck was on my side because these seven chests were enough to give me a legendary card, as you can see in the screenshot below.
On the second row, the third card is the legendary card named Agniavan Salamander. This card belongs to the fire element and comes with a special ability known as the blast ability. With this ability, the card deals an additional fifty percent damage to the units standing next to the main target.
Because of this, I think it is a very useful card, and it being a legendary card makes it even more special.
Today, I finally won my very first foundation legendary card from just seven chests. So far, I have opened a total of thirty five foundation chests, and I will be sharing more chest openings very soon.
Although this card is currently worth only ten cents, I am not someone who prefers buying cards directly from the market. Buying cards directly removes the excitement and curiosity of chest openings.
On the other hand, opening chests gives a chance to win a gold foil card, which can be worth much more. Also have a look at my daily rewards from today in the screenshot below.
Anyways, that is why I feel chest openings are always interesting, unless someone is on a very tight budget. In my case, I was not tight on budget because foundation chests cost only eleven cents per chest. So I decided to buy them and I plan to continue buying them for the next few weeks until I manage to upgrade most of my cards.
This is all I did in Splinterlands today.
In golem overlord base, the game I talked about we were absent from the game for 24+ hours and that is why you can see below that we are given only parts in the claim process.
From my terracore base I used 6 attacks and the outcome to which is shared below in the screenshot. One of the attack was dodged and rest we were able to win 800+ scraps.
