The Unspoken GoodBye part - 2 (Eng/Hindi sub) by @labibasultana

Sabihah couldn't find a drop of peace anywhere in her heart. Fear and despair completely enveloped her. In her exhaustion, she fell asleep without realizing it. She woke up at 5 AM and began her daily cooking routine after washing her hands and face. Her aunt had woken up and was sweeping the yard. Sabihah's uncle and cousin, Raju, would soon be awake and expecting breakfast.

"How much work have you finished?" asked her aunt.
"Almost done, Aunty. I'll make the bread once Uncle and Raju are up," Sabihah replied.
After a while, her uncle and Raju came to the kitchen. Sabihah was making bread, and her aunt was serving it.

Noticing her gloomy expression, her uncle asked, "Why do you look so sad, Sabihah?"

"No reason, uncle," she replied.
"Are you not happy about the wedding?" he asked.
Looking at her uncle's face, Sabihah couldn't deny it.
"Of course, I'm happy, uncle. Why wouldn't I be?" she said, forcing a smile.
"Listen, we need to go shopping today. There's not much time left before the wedding," her aunt interjected.
"Alright, I'll leave some money for you. When are you planning to go?" her uncle asked.
"It's better to go early in the morning to avoid the crowd," her aunt replied.
"Okay then, go ahead," said her uncle.
"You finish your meal and come with me," her aunt directed.
"Okay, Aunty," Sabihah nodded.
This would be the first time Sabihah would go to the market with her aunt. They left the house together, heading towards the market.

As they walked down the road, a bicycle suddenly collided with Sabihah. She fell, hurting her hand. The boy on the bicycle rushed towards her, apologizing frantically.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you. The brakes weren't working," he explained.
Sabihah looked at him silently. He seemed oddly familiar, wearing a blue kurta. She was about to say something when her aunt screamed,

"Can't you see where you're going? Trying to kill someone? You reckless boy!"
Grabbing Sabihah by the hand, her aunt dragged her away. The boy stood there, staring at Sabihah. Her aunt took her to a sari shop.

"Look around, Sabihah. See if you like any of these. Or do you want to check another shop?" her aunt asked.
But Sabihah didn't hear a word. She was lost in thoughts about the boy. Her aunt nudged her.
"Where are you lost?" her aunt demanded.
"Nowhere, Aunty. Whatever you choose is fine with me," Sabihah replied absently.
"Let's just buy the sari today. We'll come back for the rest of the shopping tomorrow," her aunt decided.
As they left the shop, Sabihah saw the boy again. Without realizing it, she smiled. She felt a strange joy and an urge to talk to him, but she suppressed it because her aunt was with her. She kept her head down and followed her aunt home.

That evening, Raju returned home and went straight to Sabihah's room. He handed her a piece of paper and left without saying anything. Puzzled, Sabihah opened it and read,
"I truly didn't mean to hit you. If you're hurt, I'm sorry. Take care."

She read the note repeatedly, finding an unknown peace in those words. Suddenly, her aunt appeared behind her.

"What are you doing?" her aunt asked.
"Nothing, Aunty," Sabihah quickly hid the note.
"Your uncle is calling you," her aunt informed her.
"I'll be there," she replied.
The day passed by without her realizing it. That night, she kept reading the note over and over. The next day was her turmeric ceremony, and the house was filled with joy and guests applying turmeric to her.

Amidst the celebrations, Abid called her.

"How are you?" Abid asked.
"Fine, why wouldn't I be? How are you?" she replied.
"Alhamdulillah, I'm good. I've been trying to call you for days. Why didn't you answer?" he inquired.
"I've been busy," she said.
"I'm coming to marry you tomorrow," he said.
"Hmm," she replied.
"Alright, I'll go now. Aunty is calling me," Abid said.
Sabihah's turmeric ceremony was filled with laughter and joy.
