Managing income is one of the most difficult things to do in life, especially when the money is not always plenty. Many people earn money, but only a few know how to manage it well. How you handle money is more important than how much you earn. Poor management can finish money quickly on matter how plenty the money is, where as good management can grow even a small income.
The first thing I do when money enters my hand is to remove my tithe. I believe in giving back to God, and for me, this is not something I negotiate with or postpone. Ten percent of my income goes out immediately as my tithe. I do this before spending on anything else because I see it as a foundation. It helps me stay disciplined and also reminds me that the money did not come by my strength alone even though I worked for it. Over time, I have noticed that when I am faithful in this area, I feel more at peace managing the rest of my income.
After removing my tithe, the next I do is to take a portion of my income to my savings. I set aside about thirty percent of my income for savings. This part is very important because life is unpredictable. Emergencies can come at any time, and unplanned situations do not give warnings when they come. Having a savings is very important to me. Instead of borrowing or feeling helpless at the time of need, I can rely on what I have saved. I've denied myself some things today so I can be safe tomorrow. It very important.

The next portion of my income, which is also around thirty percent, goes to my family. My parents and siblings are beneficiaries of my income, and I see this as a responsibility, not a burden. Supporting family is part of my values, and it gives me joy knowing that I can contribute to their well-being in my own little way. Sometimes I take responsibilities of the food, the groceries, sometimes for school needs, health issues, or other family responsibilities like electrical bill.
The last portion of my income is for my personal use. This is the part I use to take care of myself and also reinvest in other opportunities. Instead of spending everything on just pleasure alone, I try to put this money into things that can bring more income. I invest in areas like crypto or other investment platforms that I believe can grow over time. I've bought a small shares in an organisation. I'm trying to create multiple streams of income or I don't just depend on only monthly salary.
So then, when managing my income this way, I learned three discipline, planning, and then balancing. I may not always get everything I want immediately, but I am building a system that keeps me stable and hopeful at least. With this approach, I feel more confident about my present and more prepared for what the future may bring. So that's how I managed my income for now.. Peace and Love Everyone!!!!
