My Twitter account was only ever made to promote what is the current the sprit of Hive and my content. I suspect at some point they will just ban it. They on occasion seem to de-boost it, cut off features and then re-enablable them again.
Web 2.0 still holds a lot of power and for many companies the follower count regardless of engagement still means a lot. Game content creators for instance once they have 1k followers on twitter and are able to accept payment as a company can apply for Epic games Curator program and get a curator code for people to use at checkout when buying games.
