If someone confess their feelings for you but you don't feel the same way, go ahead and tell that person, "I don't like you." right away be fucking straightforward cause it is what is, rejection will surely hurt, but it is something a person can accept eventually, don't give any excuses why you can't reciprocate the feelings they have for you, there's always one reason, you don't feel the same way. It is not like that person will force you to like him/her back, it's not even your fault cause feelings is not something you can control. Being honest is at least, the best thing you can do.
