So, it may give a random item and the user won't know what it will get. But, I thought of that as pay-as-you-buy type of machine like in real world.

I'll probably sell crypto tokens using in-game currency, mostly tip tokens and utility tokens. One can sell tickets to special adventures in the game as well.

No you got it wrong / I described bad. With this vending machine you will know what you buy. It was just my attitude to build up some "what could it be?" in the game. So this machine is like you said:

But your thought I had too about another vending machine. Do you know these capsule vending machines? Also a funny idea.

The capsules ones used for games and toys in amusement parks, you pick something and don't let it drop the item. Cool idea though.

So, these balls will be some sort of game item or what players wants to be.

The filling of this machine I would let the buyer of the plot / distributor of the machine decide. So he has in his hands if it's a interesting machine for the players and a good business for him. This kind of machine is just an idea right now, but could be interesting to generate when you use it in the right way as the distributor of the machine. Items/NFTs, HSBIs, token... Hmmmm, maybe I want a machine by myself... however: step by step.

It means that you let the owner decide what sort of machine he/she wants and the dev's will create one for owner.

Basically, you just leave it customizable and even you can allow future upgrades or alter the functions of the machine.

Yeah, it's work. This is why small vending machines have a little less function like a big trading center in a skyscraper. Yes, everything is (maybe extra) work here and here, here or here - but this is how things come together. I don't mind to work for it. I mind to make a great game and functions. And if the one SQM for this 1m² plot doesn't pay our effort on day one, I'm okay with this, because I'm pretty sure that a good work and more life on the island will attract players and with every new stand/plot there are new attractions in the game. So the game also depends of their citizens/merchants - and I like and love to make conditions for synergy. This is the goal: pulling on one rope together, instead of pulling money out of the pockets. Yes, work; but a good investment in a good project. You see: I really don't mind to invest one hour more, if it should necessary here or there.
