[ENG/DEU] Changings for the CryptoCompany Voting Service

The CCCEO Voting Service is more and more popular and is gaining users. In the current operation of the service, however, we still have the fact that the Voter only has limited mana.

In the past, I have simply paused the service for a few days to work through any long queue or as soon as items in the queue became 7 days old to actually vote on each order.

All users were then affected by the pause - regardless of whether they sent 100 CCD and otherwise supported CryptoCompany 0 percent or whether it was 1000 CCD from ubiquitous top supporters. You can have different opinions on this; I also see both points of view: treating all users equally or favoring supporters of CryptoCompany.

As predicted in the last articles about the voting service, the popularity and usage has continued to grow and I have tried out a few different modes over the last 3 weeks. I am quite happy with the current version. It works as follows.

Der CCCEO Voting Service gewinnt an Beliebtheit und fortlaufend neue Benutzer. In der aktuellen Arbeitsweise des Service haben wir aber nach wie vor den Umstand, dass der Voter nur begrenzt Mana hat.

In Vergangenheit habe ich den Service einfach für ein paar Tage pausiert, um eine etwaige lange Warteschlange abzuarbeiten bzw. sobald Artikel in der Warteschlange 7 Tage alt wurden, um wirklich jede Bestellung zu voten.

Von der Pause waren dann alle Nutzer betroffen - egal ob sie 100 CCD senden und CryptoCompany anderweitig 0 Prozent unterstützen oder ob es 1000 CCD von allgegenwärtigen Top-Supportern waren. Wie man das findet, da kann man unterschiedlicher Meinung sein; auch ich sehe da beide Standpunkte: alle Benutzer gleich behandeln oder Unterstützer von CryptoCompany bevorzugen.

Wie schon in den letzten Artikeln über den Voting Service vorherzusehen war, ist die Beliebtheit und die Nutzung weiterhin gestiegen und ich habe die letzten 3 Wochen ein paar verschiedene Modi ausprobiert. Mit der aktuellen Variante bin ich recht zufrieden. Sie funktioniert wie folgt.

New procedure:

I process the orders sorted according to the amount of CCD used. Consequently, all 1000s are voted first. This is followed by the 980s ... 940s, 930s, ... 800s ... 780s ... 700s and so on - as always sorted by time of submission: “older” submissions first, followed by the newest. Currently, these are voted currently within 24 hours of submission.

Most of the orders are for 600 CCD. As the available mana is already quite low once I have reached the 600s, there is currently a queue of 3 to 5 days. All votes under 600 CCD are being processed in the 600 run.

If the article is too old (older than 5 or 6 days), I will send the CCD back as soon as it is my turn. Of course, I still comment under the article and give a note that the article could not be voted and the CCD was sent back.

Neue Vorgehensweise:

Ich bearbeite die Bestellungen sortiert nach der Höhe der verwendeten CCD. Folglich werden zuerst alle 1000er gevotet. Danach folgen die 980er ... 940er, 930er, ... 800er ... 780er ... 700er und so weiter - wie bisher immer sortiert nach Einsendezeitpunkt: "ältere" Einsendungen zuerst, hin zu den Neusten. Aktuell werden diese aktuell innerhalb von 24 Stunden nach Einsendung gevotet.

Der größte Teil der Bestellungen sind 600er. Da die verfügbaren Mana, sobald ich bei den 600ern angekommen bin, schon recht gering ist, entsteht hier eine Warteschlange von aktuell 3 bis 5 Tagen. Alle Votes unter 600 CCD arbeite ich aktuell im 600er-Durchlauf mit ab.

Sollte der Artikel zu alt sein (älter als 5, 6 Tage), sobald er an der Reihe ist, sende ich die CCD zurück. Natürlich kommentiere ich trotzdem unter den Artikel und gebe einen Hinweis, dass der Artikel nicht gevotet werden konnte und die CCD zurückgesendet wurden.

What effect this has, based on the practical tests of the last 2 weeks:

It is still possible to order votes for 600 CCD or less - and the majority of these are also voted. Occasionally, however, it happens that an article is too old to be voted. If you want to ensure that your article is voted with the current number of articles to be voted, I recommend submitting 610 CCD or more.

Wie sich das auswirkt, basierend auf den Praxistests der letzten 2 Wochen:

Es ist immernoch möglich, Votes für 600 oder weniger CCD zu bestellen - und ein Großteil dessen wird auch gevotet. Gelegentlich passiert es aber auch, dass ein Artikel zu alt ist, um ihn zu voten. Wenn Du bei der aktuellen Anzahl an zu votenden Artikeln sicherstellen willst, dass dein Artikel gevotet wird, empfehle ich, 610 CCD oder mehr einzusenden.

Upcoming adjustments:

Now that my move is complete, I will find time to take other factors into account. Then not only the amount of the CCD will be decisive, but also the extent to which the customer supports CryptoCompany in other ways. I have not yet worked out the weighting of the various factors. I may also introduce dynamic pricing. Let's see... All in good time.

For example, there are a number of customers who have been using the service constantly for weeks and prefer to wait 30 seconds every day until they can send the order instead of giving the service a vote... I'd better not say anything about that. Sure, I still do the voting voluntarily, but on the one hand wanting to use the most profitable voting service on the Hive Blockchain (for postings which receive over 95% of their HTU from services), but on the other hand not giving CryptoCompany the slightest (and free) support... hmmm. And I'm supposed to vote for these orders/users, which means that other orders from permanent supporters and members of the community fall behind? I think that's unfair to the supporters who vote, comment, delegate Hive Power, advertise or otherwise support the service or article; indeed, who make it possible for CryptoCompany to exist in the first place?

Future adjustments to the voter will therefore also depend on the extent to which a customer supports CryptoCompany. Of course, you will be informed here on @cryptocompany, but also via a reblog on @ccceo.voter, as soon as changes are made or completed.

Kommende Anpassungen:

Da mein Umzug nun abgeschlossen ist, werde ich Zeit finden, weitere Faktoren einzubeziehen. Dann wird nicht nur die Höhe der CCD maßgeblich sein, sondern auch in wie weit der Besteller CryptoCompany anderweitig unterstützt. Die Gewichtung der unterschiedlichen Faktoren habe ich noch nicht ausgearbeitet. Eventuell werde ich auch eine dynamische Preisgestaltung einführen. Schauen wir mal... Alles zu seiner Zeit.

Beispielsweise gibt es eine Reihe von Bestellern, die den Service konstant seit Wochen nutzen und lieber jeden Tag 30 Sekunden warten, bis sie die Bestellung abschicken können, statt dem Service ein Vote zu geben... Dazu sage ich mal besser nichts. Sicher, ich mache das Vote noch freiwillig, aber auf der einen Seite den rentabelsten Voting Service der Hive Blockchain nutzen wollen (für Artikel die zu über 95% von Services ihre HTU erhalten), aber auf der anderen Seite CryptoCompany nicht die geringste (und kostenlose) Unterstützung zu gönnen... hmmm. Und diese Bestellungen/Benutzer soll ich dann voten, wodurch andere Bestellungen von dauerhaften Unterstützern und Mitgliedern der Community hinten runterfallen? Das finde ich ungerecht den Unterstützern gegenüber, die den Service oder Artikel voten, kommentieren, Hive Power delegieren, Werbung für CryptoCompany machen oder anderweitig unterstützen; ja überhaupt erst dafür sorgen, dass CryptoCompany überhaupt existieren kann?

Kommende Anpassungen des Voters werden sich also auch daran orientieren, in wie weit ein Besteller CryptoCompany unterstützt. Selbstverständlich wirst Du hier auf @cryptocompany, aber auch durch ein Reblog auf @ccceo.voter darüber informiert, sobald diesbezüglich Änderungen stattfinden oder abgeschlossen sind.
