(ENG)As the community already knows, I work at a dog daycare. Recently, one of the employees rescued a pregnant pit bull that was being mistreated on the street. She was named Carmela.

(🇧🇷)Como a comunidade já sabe, eu trabalho em uma creche de cachorro. Recentemente, uma das funcionárias resgatou uma pitbull grávida que estava sofrendo maus-tratos na rua. Ela recebeu o nome de Carmela.

(ENG)For a few days, Carmela stayed at the daycare. However, after giving birth, she began to reject the puppies—a behavior that can occur in cases of extreme stress and trauma. Unfortunately, she had 11 puppies and ended up injuring 2, leaving only 9 today.

(🇧🇷)Por alguns dias, Carmela ficou na creche. Porém, depois do parto, ela começou a rejeitar os filhotes — um comportamento que pode acontecer em casos de estresse extremo e traumas. Infelizmente, ela teve 11 filhotes e acabou machucando 2, restando hoje apenas 9.

(ENG)For safety reasons, Carmela had to be taken to the home of the employee who rescued her, where she receives 24-hour supervision and all necessary care. When she is absent or working, I take care of them.

(🇧🇷)Por segurança, Carmela precisou ser levada para a casa da funcionária que a resgatou, onde recebe supervisão 24h e todo cuidado necessário. Quando ela está ausente ou está trabalhando, eu cuido deles.

The employee doesn't know WEB3, so she doesn't know I'm asking for this support. Furthermore, as soon as the puppies are strong and safe, we will be looking for responsible homes for both them and Carmela herself, who deserves a life full of love and peace after everything she's been through.
