Hace poco tiempo escribí un post sobre mi nueva mascota Kia, quien es una cachorrita poodle, y quien no tiene más de un mes conmigo en el hogar. Por otra parte, Pepe es mi lorito, quien desde que tenía apenas semanas de salido de su huevito está conmigo y actualmente tiene un (1) año y tres (3) meses formando parte de la familia en el hogar.

A short time ago I wrote a post about my new pet Kia, who is a poodle puppy, and who hasn't been with me at home for more than a month. On the other hand, Pepe is my little parrot, who has been with me since he was just weeks out of his egg and is currently one (1) year and three (3) months old as part of the family at home.

Sobre Pepe he escrito realmente muchos post, pero en ninguno había hecho la mención de que es un lorito muy celoso conmigo, me cela incluso con familiares de nuestro mismo hogar, como por ejemplo, mi hermano. Dicen que estas aves sienten preferencia por una persona en específico y sin dudarlo yo soy su persona favorita.

I have actually written many posts about Pepe, but in none of them had I mentioned that he is a very jealous parrot with me, he is even jealous of relatives from our same home, such as my brother. They say that these birds have a preference for a specific person and without hesitation I am their favorite person.

Kia, por su parte, debido a su corta edad, apenas tres (3) meses de vida, es una cachorrita muy activa y juguetona, que aún está en el proceso de aprendizaje de muchas cosas.

Kia, for her part, due to her young age, just three (3) months old, is a very active and playful puppy, who is still in the process of learning many things.

El primer día que Kia llegó a la casa Pepe en lugar de celos, sentía miedo, pues obviamente es mucho más grande que el, y siempre buscaba la manera de evitarla. Kia siempre al verlo desde el primer momento le llamaba la atención y quería jugar con el, pero Pepe sin entender nada, huía.

The first day that Kia arrived at Pepe's house, instead of jealousy, he felt fear, because obviously she is much bigger than him, and he was always looking for a way to avoid her. En este punto cabe destacar que ambos animales tienen la libertad de estar en la casa libremente, aunque Pepe ya tiene sus lugares favoritos donde puede estar en las alturas. Aproximadamente dos días después de Kia haber llegado a casa el miedo de Pepe rápidamente se convirtió en celos, y en cualquier lugar donde yo me encontraba con Kia haciendo cualquier cosa, como cargarla, acariciarle su barriguita Pepe se dirigía directamente a picar a la perrita sin pensarlo dos veces.

A pesar de que sé que ambas mascotas por la diferencia de especie no pueden estar juntos en la casa, puesto a que es un riesgo, debido a que Kia supera a Pepe en todo (fuerza, rapidez y tamaño) pudiéndole causar la muerte, hasta sin querer hacerlo, ambos suelen estar en un mismo lugar de la casa sueltos pero siempre con mi supervisión. Sé perfectamente cuando Kia quiere jugar con Pepe pero éste a su vez no le interesa en absoluto y solo quiere agredirlo, por lo tanto, en esta situación Pepe parece ser superior a Kia, ya que cuando quiere y puede la pica.

De todo esto se puede decir o concluir que obviamente la relación entre mis dos mascotas no es la más común ni la más fácil, pero los amo a ambos y por tanto los quiero en mi vida y siempre haré lo necesario para que sean felices y saludables

From all this it can be said or concluded that obviously the relationship between my two pets is not the most common or the easiest, but I love them both and therefore I want them in my life and I will always do what is necessary to make them happy and healthy
