Una vez más compartiré contenido en esta linda comunidad, hoy les contaré mi experiencia y algunos trucos que realizó al momento de darle un baño a Danna una hermosa pitbull que llegó a mi vida de forma inesperada, si quieres conocer su historia te invito a que leas [ESP-ENG] La historia de Danna y su llegada a mi vida
Considero que mantener una buena higiene en nuestras mascotas es muy importante; realmente es esencial para su salud y la de los humanos que estamos a su alrededor.
He leído algunos artículos donde hacen énfasis en que los perros deben ser aseados cuando mucho dos veces al mes, mientras que otros aseguran que lo mejor es hacerlo solo una vez; personalmente preferimos bañar a Danna dos veces al mes ya que vivimos en un ambiente caluroso y con extenso terreno donde ella se ensucia con frecuencia (en ocasiones persiguiendo iguanas xD).
Aquí les va todo el recuento del proceso:
Danna es muy inteligente, en cuánto me vio preparando el agua para su baño y ubicándola en el lugar correspondiente salió corriendo pues a ella no le agrada mucho y por lo general suele huir del agua, así que para bañarla tomó su correa y la amarro para que se mantenga lo más quieta posible y dentro del área.
Mi prima y yo nos encargamos de esta labor, ya que sinceramente una sola no podría o bueno eso creo (ademas alguien tenía que tomar las fotos). Inicié mojandola con agua templada para evitar ese choque desagradable con el agua fría que haya los humanos sentimos, luego aplico suficiente champú artesanal para perros por supuesto contra pulgas y garrapatas, esta parte la pequeña Danna si la disfruta, le encanta que le den suaves masajes, se queda muy quieta y hasta cierra los ojos.
Para continuar el trabajo mi prima quizo enjuagarla mientras yo le ayudaba con el agua y tomaba las fotos, que reto. Al finalizar la secamos muy bien con una toalla, este paso es importante para que el baño se haya completado.
Como Danna es una perra pitbull y su pelaje es muy corto no necesita cepillado, así que solo procedimos a sujetarla en otro espacio limpio donde puediera estar tranquila y sin ensuciarse aunque sea unos minutos.
Cuando estuvo algo tranquila buscamos su rico perfume para perros, el cual aplico primero en mis manos y luego se lo paso por el cuerpo para evitar que huya o que el fuerte olor la haga estornudar; este perfume me gusta mucho porque le deja un olor muy agradable por varios días.
Como truco especial puedo decirles que entre semanas me gusta aplicar vinagre mezclado con agua en una toalla pequeña y frotarle por todo el cuerpo para reducir mal olor y prevenir pulgas o garrapatas, mientras espero que pasen los días hasta su próximo baño.

I consider that maintaining good hygiene in our pets is very important; it is really essential for their health and that of the humans around them.
I have read some articles where they emphasize that dogs should be groomed at most twice a month, while others say that it is best to do it only once; personally we prefer to bathe Danna twice a month since we live in a hot environment with extensive terrain where she gets dirty frequently (sometimes chasing iguanas xD).
Here is an account of the whole process:
Danna is very smart, as soon as she saw me preparing the water for her bath and placing her in the right place she ran away because she doesn't like it very much and usually runs away from the water, so to bathe her she took her leash and tied her to keep her as still as possible and inside the area.
My cousin and I were in charge of this task, since honestly one of us could not do it alone, or so I think (besides, someone had to take the pictures). I started wetting her with warm water to avoid that unpleasant shock with the cold water that we humans feel, then I applied enough handmade shampoo for dogs of course against fleas and ticks, this part little Danna really enjoys it, she loves to be massaged gently, she stays very still and even closes her eyes.
To continue the work my cousin wanted to rinse her while I helped her with the water and took the pictures, what a challenge. At the end we dried her very well with a towel, this step is important for the bath to be completed. As Danna is a pitbull dog and her coat is very short she doesn't need brushing, so we just proceeded to hold her in another clean space where she could be quiet and without getting dirty even for a few minutes.
When she was somewhat calm we looked for her rich perfume for dogs, which I apply first in my hands and then I pass it over her body to prevent her from running away or the strong smell makes her sneeze; I like this perfume very much because it leaves a very pleasant smell for several days.
As a special trick I can tell you that between weeks I like to apply vinegar mixed with water in a small towel and rub it all over her body to reduce bad smell and prevent fleas or ticks, while I wait for the days to pass until her next bath.
