Having a pet is a great incentive to go for a walk, play, run around, get muddy and even talk to other people! Yes all that I wrote I do with my pet every time I take her out for a walk.
Sundays are the perfect day. I have nothing to do, so after breakfast I look for her leash. I don't know if it's the same with your pets, but Yuli already knows and in a sort of barking babble she begs me to put her leash on.
She immediately starts a party, runs all over the place, throws the leash in the air, until I finally open the door and she runs down the stairs at full speed. Once on the avenue, always with his little tail up, he sniffs everything in his path until we get to the park.
I pick up his leash, so he can run freely. There is no longer any danger of vehicles and it is a fleeting burst of joy that runs everywhere, greeting people and coming back to look for me, it is an invitation "run with me".
In the adventures she had today, she met several dogs, but one of them barked at her as if to scold her, the funny thing is that it was a much bigger dog than her and my little territorial Poodle won the battle.
She ran into a group of people doing Yoga and made quite a racket. The group of women who were finishing their class, gave her love, played with her and Yuli was very happy to be the center of attention.
She jumped between the fountains and I was trying to get her out, it was funny, I was running to get her out and she was already out and the next second she was back in! ... Her energy ran out and to recharge she lay down on the wet concrete next to the fountain.
After three hours, I thought that was enough, so we started our walk to the exit of the park ... but she knew it and as she approached the gate she suddenly stopped, turned and ran back into the park. It was an ordeal to catch her and put her on the leash.
She looked like a scolded child. Every now and then she would put up a fight and try to get back into the park. I think today was an excellent day of walking for my pet. She enjoyed it and so did I.
I could not agree more. A pet is a great way to get out there and get some exercise. It is great for them and you. Sometimes we all need a little push to be active. And pets can really help give us that push. Our animal fitness coaches.
Thus, they help us to be active and to initiate conversations with other people. Their energy is enigmatic and there is always someone ready to give them a caress.
Yes a walk with my dog is the ultimate Ice breaker when meeting new people. Cause they all want to know so much about her. And then we can ease into normal conversation.
That is true
I'm a dog walker and I couldn't agree more that dogs need to walk every day and if their human parents go with them, that make them so happy. Greetings!
Thank you very much for commenting. You have a very nice job, to imagine yourself surrounded by so much love is a blessing.
It's quite funny how size doesn't really tend to be much of a factor as far as "doggie showdowns" are concerned. Here at our shelter there is a Chihuahua that basically runs the place even though he is by far the smallest one here. He kind of terrorizes the other, much bigger dogs so I think there is a lot more to the hierarchy than just who is the most physically capable.
Oh and I agree about the walks. Dogs almost never get tired it seems and it is a great way to stay in shape!
Holy cow, a Chihuahua is the alpha. It's true what you say, no matter the size, there is a kind of attitude that defines the leader or the most territorial.
Seeing your dog makes me miss my dog. Your dog is very much like mine.
Unfortunately, they have been dead for almost two years.
I still miss them every day. It's very difficult to live without them.
It is very sad what you say. They are 4 little paws of love and their loss always leaves us with an emptiness difficult to replace. I saw the picture and they are very similar, you had a beautiful pet.
