Los momentos de recreación son muy importantes para nuestros perritos. No a todos les gusta divertirse de la misma manera, por eso es buena idea conocer bien a nuestras mascotas y saber cuáles son sus intereses principales, para proporcionárselos en el día a día. En el caso de mis peludos, todavía me encuentro en el proceso de conocer qué tipo de juguetes le gustan a Blacky. Él no parece muy interesado en pelotas o juguetes para morder, sino más bien en paseos, correr y juegos olfativos con premios. Bruno, en cambio, es el que se ha adueñado de todos los juguetes que hemos comprado en esta casa, y yo feliz de que al menos uno de los dos pueda sacarles provecho.
The moments of recreation are very important for our dogs. Not everyone likes to have fun in the same way, that's why it's a good idea to know our pets well and to know what their main interests are, in order to provide them with them on a daily basis. In the case of my furry ones, I am still in the process of finding out what kind of toys Blacky likes. He doesn't seem very interested in balls or chew toys, but rather in walks, running and sniffing games with treats. Bruno, on the other hand, is the one who has taken ownership of all the toys we've bought in this house, and I'm happy that at least one of them can get some use out of them.
Los primeros juguetes que compramos fueron un oso y un búho de peluche, uno para cada uno, de tamaño mediano y con cuerdas en los extremos para que ellos pudieron morder, y en tal caso jugar a tirar y traer. Cuando los llevamos a casa el más interesado fue brunito, que se adueñó del oso y empezó a mordisquearlo de inmediato. El problema de este juguete es que no era de muy buena calidad y Bruno encontró la forma de destrozarlo todo. El pobre quedó sin orejas y si se lo dejo un rato más a mi perro seguro lo rompe por completo. Me pareció un poco peligroso que Bruno pueda morder estas partes y comérselas (hilos, telas o algodón) así que casi siempre este juguete está guardado, y aunque no le he botado aún pienso hacerlo pronto. Probablemente le dé a Bruno el Búho para que se distraiga un rato pero sé que debo estar pendiente de él por lo que les digo de que pueda comerse las partes del juguete 🧸😅
The first toys we bought were a stuffed bear and a stuffed owl, one for each of them, of medium size and with strings on the ends so they could bite, and in that case play tug and fetch. When we took them home, the most interested was Brunito, who took possession of the bear and started nibbling it immediately. The problem with this toy is that it was not of very good quality and Bruno found a way to destroy everything. The poor thing was left without ears and if I leave it with my dog for a while longer he will surely break it completely. I thought it was a bit dangerous that Bruno could bite these parts and eat them (threads, fabrics or cotton) so this toy is almost always in storage, and although I haven't thrown it away yet I plan to do it soon. I will probably give Bruno the Owl to distract him for a while but I know I have to keep an eye on him so I tell them he might eat the toy parts 🧸😅.
Otro día les compramos una pelota azul de goma, con diferentes texturas. Esta pelota Bruno la ama, si se la lanzó el corre a buscarla. Sin embargo, no entiende el juego de lanzar y traer porque no me devuelve la pelota :( Se la queda para él y de hecho me gruñe fuerte si intento quitársela. Yo se la quito de todos modos para seguir jugando, o lo regaño si me gruñe muy fuerte, pero sé que lo que debo hacer es enseñarle a jugar y premiarlo cada vez que me traiga la pelota, de esa forma Bruno seguramente entenderá cómo funciona el juego.
Another day we bought them a blue rubber ball, with different textures. This ball Bruno loves it, if it is thrown to him he runs to get it. However, he doesn't understand the throw and fetch game because he doesn't give me the ball back :( He keeps it for himself and actually growls loudly at me if I try to take it from him. I take it from him anyway to keep playing, or I scold him if he growls at me too loudly, but I know what I should do is teach him how to play and reward him every time he brings me the ball, that way Bruno will surely understand how the game works.
Siguiendo con lo que comenté en el párrafo anterior y el hecho de que no me devuelva la pelota 🙈 creo que también se debe a que es muy celoso con las cosas que son suyas. Por ejemplo, si Bruno está jugando con la pelota no le gusta que Blacky se le acerque, o le gruñe muy fuerte. Cuando se cansa de jugar duerme sobre sus juguetes o protegiéndolos para que nadie se los quite 🙈 la verdad es que es muy celoso con las cosas que más quiere.
Following what I commented in the previous paragraph and the fact that he doesn't bring me the ball back 🙈 I think it is also because he is very jealous with things that are his. For example, if Bruno is playing with the ball he doesn't like Blacky coming near him, or he growls very loudly at him. When he gets tired of playing he sleeps on his toys or protecting them so no one can take them away 🙈 the truth is he is very jealous with the things he loves the most.
Hace una semana traje un nuevo juguete a la casa, uno que sonaba al moverlo y lo que compré con la intención de que a Blacky le llamara la atención… pero no fue así. Era una especie de chupón grande de plástico, con el sonajero adentro y una cuerdita de colores de la cual podía tirar o morder. No habían pasado 5 minutos cuando el Bruno ya había destrozado este nuevo juguete 🙈 así que se lo quité de inmediato porque me daba miedo que se tragara el sonajero, o que se comiera partes del plástico. Solo le dejé la cuerdita de colores y todavía juega con ella.
A week ago I brought a new toy into the house, one that rattled when you moved it and what I bought with the intention that Blacky would get his attention...but it didn't. It was a kind of big plastic pacifier, with a rattle inside and a colorful string that he could pull or chew on. Not 5 minutes had passed when Bruno had already destroyed this new toy 🙈 so I took it away immediately because I was afraid he would swallow the rattle, or eat parts of the plastic. I just left him with the little colorful string and he still plays with it.
Sin duda, Bruno ama jugar brusco y agresivo con sus juguetes. Por suerte, es un perrito muy bueno y no destruye el resto de las cosas de la casa 😅 él sabe con que puede jugar! Entonces yo lo dejo y ya sé que los próximos juguetes que traiga a casa tienen que ser muy resistentes pues tengo un perrito tierno pero destructor, hahaha.
No doubt Bruno loves to play rough and aggressive with his toys. Luckily, he is a very good little dog and doesn't destroy the rest of the stuff in the house 😅 he knows what he can play with! So I leave him and I already know that the next toys I bring home have to be very sturdy as I have a cute but destructive puppy, hahaha.

Que bien estimada amiga, en casa de mi hijo tenemos una perrita Pudor, que ya es de la familia, no puede dormir sino en el mismo cuarto de mi hijo y mi nuera, la tienen por demás de consentida, cuando vamos a la casa de mi hijo, la perrita Cookie como se llama, quisiera tenernos a todos reunidos.
