My Akita does accept the leash, and with a firm hand she behaves very well — but she clearly prefers being off leash. That’s why we spend so much time in the forest. When I let her loose, she spins in circles with joy and starts playing like she’s two years old again. I love seeing her so happy and full of life, even at nine years old. 🐾❤️
