My kitten was back home injured! Who have made the wound?

A month ago my cat Tobin, suddenly dissapeared for two days. Though felt a bit worry, I had a thought that he's just exploring outdoor around home (he's in adolescent phase).

The day three, he finally came! But with this open wound on his pelvis area. He came to me like showing his wound and appeared to feel pain.

I immediately gave him antibiotic, and he's strong enough to handle the spray medicine on his fresh wound.

I made him playing with me to divert his suffers, so then he easily got his joyfull state back.

The wound gradually dried up within a week.

I still felt curious about what made Tobin get injured, and unexpectedly I heard that my sister in law who had done it! She admitted that she accidentally did it. She threw away a glass of hot water into the toilet when Tobin was there! Tobin ran away in heat and back home when the heated skin was peeled off (maybe he kept licking it).

Now, Tobin's wound has been recovered, the fur on the bald mark has been growing back. :-)
