Good Day Guys
Every Sunday is usually the feeding day for the tarantulas of my brother and cousin. So I took the opportunity to take photos of the different tarantulas that he fed.
Brachypelma auratum
This is also called the Mexican Flame Knee. This sling is my cousins Tarantula and his name is Zuko. It was a given a small Turkestan Cockroach. As soon as my brother placed it on its enclosure it went to it and ate it.
If you are wondering how it would look like in the future, just look at the photo below. This is my brother's Mexican flame knee and he calls it Fuego. The feeding response of this tarantula is great. As soon as my brother placed a dubia cockroach it took it down.
Grammostola pulchripes
This is also known as the Chaco Golden knee. Meet Taco the Chaco. This is my cousins' tarantula. It's one of the most common species that you can get here in our country and it's actually cheap compared to the other tarantulas. As soon as my brother dropped the roach it went to it and bit it.
Pterinochilus murinus
This is also known as an Orange Baboon Tarantula(OBT). My brother was cautious and wanted to know where it was before feeding it because they bolt fast. As soon as he spotted what hole it was in, he started rubbing the roach on the ground near it which made the spider come out and bite it. Then it brought it back inside its hole.
Cerotogyrus darlingi
Also known as the rear-horned baboon, When my brother was feeding it a roach it missed it so my brother tried to move it with the tong then it attacked the tong and went back inside its hole. My brother tried luring it out but it was doing an angry stance so my brother just decided to leave the cockroach inside pre-killed.
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
This is my favorite species from all of them because of the looks. This tarantula is called a Green Bottle Blue Tarantula or in short GBB. Just look how colorful this type of tarantula is. This is my cousin's GBB. My brother tried feeding it a cockroach and it went near it but it didn't eat it. I was really disappointed because I thought that I will witness it eat already.
Just look on how pretty it is with all its colors. I also like it because they are heavy webbers.
These are the enclosures of all the tarantulas, there's actually a scorpion there but I wasn't able to take a photo of it because it was hiding and it didn't like to eat.
These are the cockroaches that my brother fed them. They are actually Dubia Cockroaches and I'm the one breeding them.
This is a photo of them inside their tub. I think I already have over a hundred cockroaches already. It's really fun to have your own farm because they help decompose our waste. We feed them the peelings of the fruits and vegetables. Some reasons why I like these feeders, its because they don't smell, they can't climb plastic, low maintenance and they are not noisy.
We really don't need that many male Dubias in the colony because they end up killing each other so that's what we usually feed to our pets. Here are my colony of ants. I gave them a male Dubia cockroach. I usually pre kill it by pulling its head. As soon as I placed it inside, there were a lot of ants flocking to it and they were even carrying it. Watching them eat is really amusing. I hope that you guys had a wonderful day!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

These little guys are creepy and cute at the same time.
Haha, I guess you'll just get used to it once you start taking care of them. Thanks for dropping by!
Love that green bottle blue. I have a cobalt and a Chilean rosehair and a vinegaroon. Such easy pets.
I also love that species, the color is just amazing and I love how they web up. That's cool to meet other keepers. Feeding time will always be the best day especially when you watch their take downs.

I almost bought this dwarf tarantula at an animal show but decided I already had enough spiders lol. Plus this one was really expensive like $80 so I figured I should wait and shop around.
There can never be enough spiders haha. You'll get your chance to get one, someday.
According to my brother, female adults of this species cost around $30 to $40 because it became quite common here in our Country.
Happy keeping!
At the time those trinidad dwarf tarantulas were just showing up around here last year. Now they are really common and are in the $30 range, with the spiderlings even cheaper. I would rather get a green bottle blue first though.
Everything is just getting cheaper when there are more hobbyists breeding.
I really love GBB's their color just looks so unique. I also love the way they web up the enclosure.
And they can be handled unlike my cobalt which is fierce and bites anything in its cage.
