Mandy the short-legged Jack Russel

Hi everyone,

I’m Mandy. I am joining pets hive to share my day-to-day adventures with everyone on here. My owner adopted me 3 years ago when I was just a little puppy and that’s when I became part of a big family. I am what they call a “therapy pet” as my owners were going through sad and difficult times just before they decided to adopt me. That’s right, I transfer all my love to them through cuddles and it brings them happiness. I love cuddles and kisses because I am very affectionate and I always want to give and receive love.

I cannot be apart from my owners for long periods of time because I love them too much, more than anything in fact. I don’t have any brothers or sisters so… that means I have the whole house and yard to myself every day, actually I run this place, I am in charge and I always get what I want. My owners give me many toys but I always chew them up into tiny pieces and I don’t know why, I think I just want to have sharper teeth for a powerful bite when I go bird catching. Yep, I love catching birds, lizards, frogs and many other bugs, although my family seems to not approve of my games and I always get put in a time out when I bring a dead bird into the house. It’s just my instincts I guess I am a wild card and I like running at super-fast speed when I get the zoomies. I am constantly bursting with energy and zoomies.

I Love FOOD. I only eat my pebbles with gravy, treats and if I’m lucky, some bacon bits because those are my utmost favorite. I am a picky pup and I like eating yummy food. I am really good at staring contests and I always beat my grandpa. I wait for him to sit and start eating his food then I proceed to stand in front of him while maintaining eye contact and stare deeply into his eyes with my cute face, as I watch him eat bite after bite. 9 out of 10 times I win because lets be honest, nobody can resist my adorable face and he eventually gives me a snacky from his plate.

I live a fun active life and I love my owners very much, but all that changes when it comes to bath time. I HATE BATH TIME. I don’t see the need to bath I don’t understand the concept at all because I will eventually get dirty again so what is the point of bathing in the first place.

Car rides are the best! There is absolutely no other activity that I enjoy more than going for car rides and exploring the world beyond my front yard. Seeing all the beautiful trees while we drive by, I put my head out the window, soft air blowing through my fur, slurpy tongue dangling down my chin and just enjoying this blissful moment sigh of relief…Now I am at the top of the world and at peak fulfillment.

My owners take excellent care of me and in return I poop on the floor and I fill their hearts with joy. That will be all for now but I will share my future adventures with you all and thank you for getting to know a little bit about me.
