Improve my relationship with my hamster [ENG- ESP]

Hello hive pets community, I'm Nitsu and I hope you are sharing a great day with your furry, feathered or scaled companions. A long time ago I uploaded a post telling about the arrival of my hamster Toti at home, I told that he was adapting to his new place and that he was not very friendly with me, he bit me or squealed as soon as I came in contact with him. This time I want to tell about the great progress of our relationship and how much we both managed to understand each other.

Hola comunidad de hive pets, soy Nitsu y espero que estén compartiendo un gran día con sus compañeros peludos, emplumados o con escamas. Hace ya muchísimo tiempo subí un post contando sobre la llegada de mi hámster Toti a casa, conté que se estaba adaptando a su nuevo lugar y que no era muy amigable conmigo, me mordía o chillaba apenas entraba en contacto con él. Esta vez quiero contar sobre los grandes avances de nuestra relación y lo mucho que ambos logramos entendernos.

It took time, patience and a lot of seeds to achieve what we have today, but it was absolutely worth it. Toti came to my house when he was about 6 months old, an aunt decided to breed hamsters and many of them were dying because of bad care so my family accepted one in our house. Toti living with his siblings forged his character, hamsters are solitary animals and the fact of living with others can stress them and even kill them, it is very important to be informed about the animals because the veterinaries themselves just to sell are capable of misinforming people.

Tomo tiempo, paciencia y muchas semillas de por medio lograr lo que hoy tenemos, pero valió absolutamente la pena. Toti llego a mi casa con unos 6 meses de vida aproximadamente, una tía decidió criar hamsters y muchos de ellos estaban muriendo por los malos cuidados así que mi familia acepto uno en nuestra casa. Toti al convivir con sus hermanos forjo su carácter, los hámsteres son animales solitarios y el hecho de convivir con otros los puede estresar y hasta matar, es muy importante informarse sobre los animales ya que las propias veterinarias solo para vender son capaces de desinformar a la gente.

Today Toti lets me pick him up in my hand, and when I give him cuddles he licks my fingers trying to groom me, he is a very happy and very cuddly animal when he wakes up after his long hours of sleep he starts to make noise inside his cage so that we pay attention to him and until we are not going to take him out he doesn't stop. He loves cream cheese, eating his balanced food which consists of a mix of seeds and eating his worms (Tenebrios).

A dia de hoy Toti me deja levántalo en mi mano, y cuando le doy mimos el lame mis dedos intentando acicalarme, el es un animalito muy feliz y muy mimoso cuando se despierta luego de sus largas horas de sueño comienza a hacer ruido dentro de su jaula para que le prestemos atención y hasta que no vamos a sacarlo el no se detiene. Le encanta el queso crema, comer su alimento balanceado que consta de un mix de semillas y comer sus gusanitos (Tenebrios).

There was a time when he escaped from his cage, he had found a way to climb on his water trough and escape, once we realized this we solved the problem so that little Harry Houdini would not do it again.

Hubo un tiempo donde se escapo de su jaula, había encontrado la forma de treparse en su bebedero y escapar, una vez nos dimos cuenta solucionamos el problema para que el pequeño Harry Houdini no volviera a hacerlo.

He is almost one year old and I have to take him to the vet for a check up to see if everything is ok, but you can't take a hamster to just any vet, you have to take him to an exotic animal vet to be attended properly.

Ya casi cumple un añito de vida y tengo que llevarlo a una revisión al veterinario para saber si todo esta correctamente y quedarme tranquilo, pero no se puede llevar a un hámster a cualquier veterinario, sino que hay que llevarlo a uno de animales exóticos para que lo atiendan adecuadamente.

Many times when I give him cuddles he stays still enjoying himself almost to the point of falling asleep in my hand and that is something I appreciate very much since it expresses the confidence and security he feels when he is with me. Sometimes he keeps biting me because I am a bit annoying with him.

Muchas veces cuando le doy mimos el se queda quieto disfrutando casi hasta el punto de quedarse dormido en mi mano y eso es algo que aprecio mucha ya que expresa la confianza y seguridad que siente cuando esta conmigo. A veces me sigue mordiendo porque soy un poco molesto con él.

Hamsters are little animals that do not live long between 1 and 3 years, maybe he can not accompany me all his life, but I can accompany him all his life and I will always give him the best so he can live well and happy.

Los hámsters son animalitos que no viven mucho tiempo entre 1 y 3 años tal vez el no pueda acompañarme toda la vida, pero yo si puedo acompañarlo en toda su vida y siempre le voy a dar lo mejor para que pueda vivir bien y feliz.
