Woof!
Hi again! It's me, Muffin!
Ninnu hasn't made any posts for a while, so I'm taking over.
Who am I? Well.. You can read about that in my introduction post!
A few weeks ago things started to go a little bit weird when Mom started putting me my collar on instead of the harness I normally wear when we go outside, and took yummies along. She said I'd be a good girl if I walked nicely along her side. It was difficult to learn, but I guess it went well enough as she kept giving me praises and yummies.
On last Saturday evening she gave me a thorough combing, and after our last walk that day, Daddy washed me equally thoroughly. I was also sprayed with something that smells pretty awful, but Mommy and Daddy seemed to think it will make my fur shine, or something.
On the next day, we had an early rise, and after another thorough combing and a quick walk outside, they packed me in a carrier and took me on a car ride. I was a bit nervous at first, but as we rode on, it wore off. Until we stopped, and I heard a lot of barking.
There were so many dogs I have never seen so many other dogs in my life. It was so weird.
I mean there I was, knowing not what to do, so I just yanked around. I normally bark at other dogs, but I now was too shy to talk to the other dogs. I bet if Ninnu had been there with me, I would have had more courage.
Daddy was pulling my carrier on something that looked oddly familiar. We walked on a huge dusty sandlot.
While walking, we met Tellu. She is a friend of mine, although she yaps a lot. Tellu is a Lancashire Heeler who lives with Olli (a heeler too), Ninnu's puppyhood friend. She was similarly puzzled on why we were there, and why there were so many other dogs too. She didn't bark as much as I remembered. I guess she was feeling shy too.
After a while, we arrived to a place with some dogs that looked like Ninnu and me. Daddy surprised me as the thing he was pulling around turned out to be the grooming table Mommy uses to comb Ninnu and me on. I didn't realize Daddy could shrink and grow tables by will. I guess Daddy is simply using magic or something.
When the table was set, Mommy started combing me again, and gave me a pretty little strawberry hair bow clip. (I like strawberries. Yummy!)
We waited for quite a long time, watching some French bulldogs parading around the lot. It was a warm but quite windy day, and the wind easily picked up the dusty sand and flung it around everywhere. It didn't take long before my fur was all dusty and Mom had to comb it through again.
After a while, when the French bulldogs had had their fun in the lot, a lady stepped in front of everyone and announced that male Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonkas were up next. There weren't very many of them, so she soon came in front of us again, now calling for junior bitches to step into the ring.
Daddy told us it is my turn, and Mommy lift me off the table, carried me into the lot, and set me on the ground. I was so scared I was trying to crouch and run at all directions at the same time.
There were two other dogs there with their owners; a small black one, and a brown one.
(Mommy told Daddy that the brown one was my cousin.)
However, we were told to run around for a while and I managed to calm down a little before being called up by the important looking man for an inspection.
Running around and calming down.
Waiting for our turn.
By the time of being inspected, I had calmed down quite a bit.
After having been inspected I was asked to run forth-and-back and circle around by the important looking man. He seemed pleased by my performance, and asked us to do yet another lap around the ring.
Doing another lap.
Then we had to wait for my cousin to get checked.
Yours truly was deemed "Excellent", and best of the class.
Sadly, I didn't win any prices... this time. Mommy says I have another competition to take part later this year. Maybe I will have better luck then!

Wow! Thatโs a long day for the little doggie! What an experience!
Hey, what a cute puppy, she's super cute. I have no doubt that she will attract a lot of attention ๐
Gorgeous puppy dog. Sorry you didnโt win, your baby certainly looks good enough to take any prize. ๐ถโค๏ธ๐ค๐
