Well thank you @dandays. I do know where the Humane Society is in my area, however, I found out they aren't as humane as they advertise themselves as being. Friends who worked there and informed me of their practices, so I won't support them. It sounds different where you are.

I know you want me to get a dog, even a temporary one. You aren't the only one, lol. My lifestyle isn't going to be good for a dog, even temporarily. It would be selfish of me to take that on under such circumstances, as much as I'd like to.
