I translated the title with deepl and i really love that the phrase in English, "be good for goodness' sake," comes across in Spanish as "be good, for the love of God."

I hope you won't mind that I'm including a piglet in my Caturday post, but they are inextricable.

In fact, I'm wondering how I'm going to make certain that they have comfortable shareable digs forever, because i can't imagine separating them.

I think that is quite likely that most, if not all animals whose lives are entangled with human beings, are bodhisattvas or something like that.

That is to say, they exist as living opportunities for human beings to choose/learn compassion, love and empathy.

It seems to me that the notion of suffering as deserved to "burn away" negative karma, might be a total perversion of the truth. An artificially concocted dogma obscuring the truth in a convenient way to have people accept other less and controls and impingements in their freedom, etcetera.

But what do i know?

Maybe it is easier to see that the very best we can do is generate and increase positive karma by diminishing or ending suffering and any and all suffering that we have the power to diminish or eliminate.

Certainly, most people would agree that there is nothing to be gained by creating suffering... And yet...

It would be really splendid to have a partner or a roommate or neighbor-friend, who cares, to help out with them.. and who I could leave my fur family in the care of for a short trip. That's something I am working to bring into my life.

I think it might be time for some changes and having these guys, my pups and ten almost juvenile chickens, is making it complex.

But the joy of a little bitty kitten climbing up my pants-leg to get into my lap... And piggy kisses, are beyond compare.

A beautiful friend told me today that she thinks that my care and love for them makes the angels smile. I like that.

So angels, please send some funds and/or whatever magnet of physical world-support you can muster.

More than anything, I'm simply grateful for how much they teach me about selfless love. These wee besties are blessings in my life.

Quizás sea más fácil ver que lo mejor que podemos hacer es generar y aumentar el karma positivo disminuyendo o liberándonos del sufrimiento y de todo aquel sufrimiento que tengamos el poder de disminuir o eliminar.

Sin duda, la mayoría de la gente estaría de acuerdo en que no se gana nada creando sufrimiento... Y, sin embargo...

Sería realmente maravilloso tener una pareja, un compañero de piso o un vecino-amigo que se preocupara por ellos, que me ayudara con ellos... y a quien pudiera dejar a mi familia peluda al cuidado durante un viaje corto. Eso es algo en lo que estoy trabajando para incorporarlo a mi vida.

Creo que puede que sea el momento de hacer algunos cambios, y tener a estos chicos, mis cachorros y diez pollos casi juveniles, lo complica todo.

Pero la alegría de un gatito diminuto trepando por la pernera de mis pantalones para subirse a mi regazo... Y los besos de la chanchita no tienen comparación.

Una amiga preciosa me ha dicho hoy que cree que mi cuidado y amor por ellos hace sonreír a los ángeles. Me gusta eso.

Así que, ángeles, por favor, enviadme fondos y/o cualquier tipo de apoyo material que podáis reunir.

Más que nada, simplemente estoy agradecida por lo mucho que me enseñan sobre el amor desinteresado. Estas pequeñas amigas son una bendición en mi vida.
