A Ray of Sunshine: Virgo's Little Parade of Cuteness

in Hive Pets6 months ago (edited)

A companion doesn't delimit to a person, some may come in a form that's different from us but certainly makes our lives bearable to live.

Good day Hivers! I wish you all well, no matter the circumstances you're in right now. Today's blog is a kind of sentimental for me. I'd like to desecrate this to my ever-adorable ray of sunshine Virgo. He's our family's first pet for in the past, it did not occur to us that we were capable of fostering a home for a pet but ever since Virgo's appearance, he has been so adorable and I definitely like its uniqueness among its kind. Virgo was only given to us by our neighbor since they didn't have the means to cater to its needs. We didn't plan on adopting it at first since were not confident enough about the responsibility that bears with its presence and yet I was captivated by its charm that's why it ended up living with us.

Having a pet can somehow be tiring at times since it would also seem like a little child that needs sufficient effort and attention for its growth, Virgo is such a high-maintenance pet because of its demeanor but having Virgo has also been a great help for us in terms of giving us comfort when we're feeling under the weather. Its cuteness is enough to soothe my troubled mind when I feel stressed and I love how it would always come at the beck of my call just so that it would comfort me. Having him makes life a lot more bearable to live by.

As we've been trying to take care of Virgo there have also been a lot of cats that have slowly filled our house, these cats never fail to give me a headache yet I really can't afford to just leave it by since they seem to be pitiful yet cute ( I really can't handle adorable things) Our pets have grown in number and the house that's once been very silent are now filled with enormous noise from these lovely pets. I love taking lots of pictures with them since it also helps me preserve my memories of their growth.

In the past, though I also did get acquainted with a dog named Brandon, it was a short life but blissful moment. I'm not officially its owner but then Brandon would tirelessly follow me no matter where I went, whenever I went out of the house it would just effortlessly follow my lead and that somehow led to its death. I was going to the sea at that time and I did try my best to evade him since he had tailing me no matter what, we lived near the street so it's quite dangerous for pets to just casually roam around, It didn't even occur to me to put chain on him since he's not really in my ownership and I'm afraid it would cause conflict by its real owner so I just let Brandon follow me regardless of that matter. It so happened that he had noticed that I was not in the usual place and being unaware of everything he had crossed the streets that led to its devastating death. I was shocked and almost couldn't believe of what happened and blamed myself constantly because of my negligence I lost something precious to me. I cried for days and somehow it became hard for me to look at dogs for I would just feel guilty about the tragedy of my first experience of having a dog companion. I even regretted how I did not get to keep photos of him and how I didn't get to spend more time with him, that's why now I've been eager to take good care of Virgo.

Dogs are somewhat considered by many to be their best friend, Now, I understand why, Dogs can give comfort that not even a human could bother to give. They will make you feel how special you are to them just by the simple wagging of their tail and display of affection through their actions. It may take a few adjustments for them to fully trust a human but once they've gotten to feel your attention and care for them, they'll make you feel that experience of having a companion that's incomparable by any living being. Now, all I wish is to spend more time with Virgo so that may I be able to give the care and love that I failed to give on my first attempt at wanting a pet.

I do hope that you have enjoyed reading my blog, Sayoñara Hivers!! Have a great day ahead of you all.
