Puercoespin "Animales fantásticos y dónde encontrarlos" / Porcupine "Fantastic animals and where to find them"

in Hive Pets4 years ago

On the way to my grandparents' farm where my father harvests we met this porcupine. I can swear to you that I have never seen one and wow! What a beauty of face they have, they look sweet even if you have a lot of quills or thorns, but I understand that they are to defend themselves.

My dad tried to grab it to move it off the track and be able to pass and the first thing he did was bristle. I have a video of him, but I still don't know how to upload the videos on this platform "bear with me"

My dad mobilized him as best he could, although he threw several thorns at him. Have you come across one? What information do you have about them?

I read: When the porcupine feels threatened by a predator, it reacts by bristling the spines. In addition to this threatening posture, it moves the body with tremors that make the spikes clash, so that they produce a very characteristic metallic sound that serves as a warning to possible attackers.

Diet: Porcupines like to chew on many variety of trees including fir, pine, beech, birch, oak, elm, cherry and willow well. Sometimes they also eat kinds of wooded shrubs.

I think that is why he was in the pass, because on the way there are many trees and fruits that are rich to eat. I made my dad go in to pick fruit for me.

A very beautiful porcupine. It is a privilege to find this animal, however, in hive Pets, we value original content. It is important that when you take information from the web, you can add the respective source. Keep this in mind for future publications.
