Hola a todos, como pudieron ver en mi introducción, y si no la han visto los invito a que vayan y conozcan un poco mas de mi. En este caso hablare de mi mascota, quien llego a mi vida para ponerla de cabeza, desbloqueando el nivel de mamá perruna.

Hasta que un día viendo perritos por internet, me llamo mucho la atención unos huskys siberianos cachorritos, eran la cosita mas linda y tierna que haya visto. Enseguida le envié la foto a mi esposo y le dije “se llamará simba”, a lo que el me dijo “me gusta simba”, nos pusimos en contacto con su criador y agendamos una cita para verlo.
Días después nos dirigimos a conocer a quien seria nuestro hijo de cuatro patas, el lugar estaba muy alejando de donde vivimos, lo que nos tomo un poco mas de 1h en auto para llegar al lugar. Hablamos con quienes lo estaba cuidando y se nos permitió entrar a conocer a los cachorros, pero al estar tan pequeños no se nos dejaba tocarlos, solo verlos, tampoco podíamos llevarlo a casa, ya que había que esperar a que pasara el tiempo del destete y tuviese las primeras vacunas.
¿Como supimos que era el?, la verdad él nos escogió a nosotros, ese día que fuimos a conocer a los cachorros hubo uno en especial que no pudimos observar con detalle, ya que nos dio la espalda y cada vez que intentábamos acércanos (hasta donde nos tenían permitido ) el cochorro se daba la vuelta, a lo que no le dimos importancia y tomamos una foto de los cachorros, tres meses después y justo el día que volvíamos de nuestra pequeña luna de miel la cual fue 4 meses después de la boda, (historia que ira en otros blog).
En fin, fuimos a buscar a nuestro cachorro y justo llegando al lugar nos empiezan a hablar de los cuidados y blablabla, para este momento simba estaba dentro de la casa con sus hermanitos, mostros estábamos en el jardín, cuando nos van a abrir la puerta para ya escoger a nuestro perrito, pues que sale simba corriendo al jardín, derechito hacia nosotros, una bolita de pelos, no pudimos evitar gritar emocionados su nombre “simba”.
Fue un momento tan lindo y divertido, lo tomamos en brazos y nos dirigimos a casa y si se preguntaran como sabíamos que era el cachorro que en un inicio nos dio la espalda, pues era el único que tenia una marca en sus ojos como si llevara puesto unos lentes estilo Harry
Potter. Además, que poco a poco nos fue mostrando esa rebeldía, cuando hacia una travesura, se daba vuelta y nos ignoraba.
Simba ha sido nuestro mejor amigo, llego en un momento difícil para nosotros, y bueno para el mundo, ya que el fue nuestra alegría en casa en esos momentos tan duros como fue la pandemia. Simba esta próximo a cumplir sus 5 años de vida, lo que nos llena de felicidad y nostalgia, ya que sabemos y entendemos que la vida de nuestras mascotas no esta larga como la nuestra. Por esa razón tratamos de disfrutar cada día a nuestro Simba, riéndonos de sus travesuras y respirando profundo cuando hace de las suyas.

Until one day looking at dogs on the internet, my attention was attracted by some Siberian husky puppies, they were the most cute and cuddly little thing I had ever seen. I immediately sent the picture to my husband and told him “his name will be Simba,” to which he said, “I like Simba,” we contacted his breeder and made an appointment to see him.
Days later we went to meet who would be our dog son, the place was very far from where we live, which took us a little more than 1 hour by car to get to the place. We talked to the people who were taking care of him and we were allowed to go in to meet the puppies, but since they were so small, we were not allowed to touch them, only to see them, we could not take him with us either, since we had to wait until he was weaned and had his first vaccinations.
How did we know it was him?, the truth is he chose us, that day we went to meet the puppies, there was one in particular that we could not observe in detail, as he turned his back to us and every time we tried to approach (as far as we were allowed) the puppy turned away, to which we did not give importance and took a picture of the puppies, three months later and just the day we returned from our little honeymoon which was 4 months after the wedding, (story that will go in another blog.)
Anyway, we went to look for our puppy and just arriving to the place the caregiver start talking to us about the care and blablabla, by this time Simba was inside the house with his siblings, we were in the garden, when the caregiver is going to open the door to choose our puppy, Simba comes out running to the garden, right towards us, a little ball of hair, we could not avoid shouting excitedly his name “Simba”.
It was such a cute and funny moment, we took him in our arms and headed home and if you wonder how we knew it was the puppy that at first turned his back to us, because he was the only one who had a mark in his eyes as if he was wearing Harry Potter style glasses. Besides, little by little he was showing us that rebelliousness, when he made a mischief, he would turn around and ignore us.
Simba has been our best friend, he arrived in a difficult moment for us, because he was our joy at home in those hard moments like the pandemic. Simba is about to turn 5 years old, which fills us with happiness and nostalgia, as we know and understand that the life of our pets is not as long as ours. For that reason, we try to enjoy every day our Simba, laughing at his antics and taking a deep breath when he does his thing.
