Hello, Hive Pets community!

It's been a while since the last time I brought you my beautiful empress of the home, I guess I haven't had much time left to chase the cat with the phone and capture those unique moments she generates between Sofia's cries and work occupations.

However today I made some time and spent a couple of hours following Cleopatra like a paparazzi, during this time I was able to analyze her behavior at the expense of not leaving her alone throughout the morning, poor thing, since she loves to be alone in her nap time.

Cleopatra has a love/hate relationship with my daughter Sofia, especially when the baby cries, Cleopatra runs away at full speed, I guess the sound is too loud for her, however, I recently managed to capture this moment, and it taught me a lot about animals and Cleo in particular.

Cleopatra came into my parents' room after the baby fell asleep, with a lot of curiosity she lay down on one side and kept looking at her. When the baby was moving and trying to wake up Cleo would take action and with a paw would move her so she wouldn't cry, we thought this was because she would rather have the baby sleep than listen to her cry, nevertheless, we later learned that this was a turning point in Cleopatra's behavior.

Now since then she seeks to be around Sophia, she sniffs her constantly but even after that, she moves away and usually locks herself in her fortress of solitude, best known as mom's closet. Today as I was following her, I walked in next to her, and she gave me one of those fulminant cat looks, where you don't know if she has turned you in her mind into a giant mouse, or if your cat is planning to kill you in the night.

She soon let me take a couple of pictures and posed like a model, getting used to my invasion of her fortress. Cleo has been adjusting to socializing with a baby in one way or another, either by running away from him or approaching him when he's "in a good mood", and I consider both to be progress and preferable to her assaulting Sofia.

Over time we have seen these behavioral changes and today that I followed her I was able to capture her attitudes to show, especially adorable when she looks for my mom while mom plays with Sofia and has her granny moments.

She also does this with Abigail, especially in the mornings when we take Sofia out in the sun, Cleopatra comes out behind us and sticks to us cuddling with our legs and rubbing herself in the sand in the yard. The funny thing is that when she comes into the house she runs straight to her fortress as if fleeing the act of socializing, although Abigail thinks it's to clean her fur with mom's clothes.

¡Hola comunidad de Hive Pets!

Ha sido ya un tiempo desde la ultima vez que les traje a mi hermosa emperatriz del hogar, supongo que realmente no me ha quedado mucho tiempo para perseguir a la gata con el teléfono y capturar esos momentos únicos que genera entre llantos de Sofía y ocupaciones laborales.

Sin embargo hoy hice un tiempo y me dedique durante un par de horas a seguir a Cleopatra como un paparazzi, durante este tiempo pude analizar su comportamiento a costa de no dejarla en paz a lo largo de la mañana, pobrecita puesto a ella le encanta estar sola en su hora de la siesta.

Cleopatra ha tenido una relación amor/odio con mi hija Sofía, especialmente cuando la bebe llora, Cleopatra sale huyendo a toda velocidad, supongo que el sonido es muy fuerte para ella, sin embargo recientemente logre capturar este momento y me enseño mucho sobre los animales y sobre Cleo en particular.

Cleopatra entro al cuarto de mis padres luego de que se durmiere la bebe, con mucha curiosidad se acostó a un lado y no dejaba de mirarla. Cuando la bebe se movía y hacia para despertarse Cleo entraba en acción y con una patita la movía para que ella no llorara, pensamos que esto era por que prefiere que la bebe duerma a escucharla llorar, sin embargo luego supimos que este fue un punto de inflexión en el comportamiento de Cleopatra.

Ahora desde entonces busca estar alrededor de Sofía, la huele constantemente pero aun luego de ello se aleja y usualmente se encierra en su fortaleza de la soledad, es decir, el closet de mama. Hoy como estaba siguiéndola, entre junto a ella y ella me dio una de esas miradas fulminantes propias de un gato, donde uno no sabe si es que se transformo en un ratón gigante o si su gato planea asesinarlo en la noche.

Pronto se dejo tomar un par de fotos y poso como una modelo, acostumbrándose a mi invasión a su fortaleza. Cleo se ha estado adaptando a socializar con un bebe de una forma u otra, sea huyéndole o acercándose cuando "esta de buenas" y considero que ambas cosas son un progreso y preferibles a que agreda a Sofía.

Con el tiempo hemos visto esos cambios de comportamiento y hoy que la seguí pude capturar sus actitudes para mostrarlas, especialmente adorable cuando busca de mi mama mientras mama juega con Sofía y tiene sus momentos de abuelita.

También hace esto con Abigail, especialmente en las mañanas cuando sacamos a Sofía al sol, sale Cleopatra detrás de nosotros y se pega a nosotros acariciándose con nuestras piernas y restregándose en la arena del patio. Lo curioso es que al entrar a casa corre directo a su fortaleza, como huyendo del acto de socializar, aunque Abigail piensa que es para limpiar su pelaje con la ropa de mama.
