Hey there! How’s the start of your week?

It is now the first week of March, and I am more excited about the following months because it is almost the end of the school year, so it only means vacation is fast approaching. Nothing beats the excitement of having a summer vacation, well, not literally a leisure vacation, but I’m going to just stay at home.

This is actually my first time sharing a blog in the Hive Pets community, and I’m glad I was able to learn about this community just recently because I would love to share about my pet named Olaf. Olaf is a clingy cat of mine, and she is a female cat. My younger brother was the one who found her on the street last year near our house, and she was alone and kept on crying like she was looking for her mother. I was thinking of bringing the cat into our house, but I was also thinking that the mother might come back, so we just left and decided to come back.

On the next day, we looked for the cat in the same spot, and surprisingly, we found her again. So, that was the time I decided to bring her into our house. Olaf was naturally so cute and gentle with a curious personality that makes it her charm to everyone in the household. And she explored her new environment as her playful style brought laughter and joy to our life making it feel like she had always belonged with us.

My whole family agreed that we adopt her as our own, and I was so happy that we could provide her the love she wanted since we really think she is a stray cat. We promised to give her a warm and comfortable home where she would always feel safe and cherished. As the days went by, I could see her energy more alive compared to the previous weeks.Well, of course she is surrounded by the support and affection of her new family. Upon a few days of observation, I can see that she is more comfortable, and she began to be more playful. With cats, our mornings are a bit more robust, exciting, and entertaining. Not just aches and pains as we crawl out of bed but a bit of laughter and excitement that takes us away from our mundane mornings. And it does not have to be robust; subtle things are amusing, especially the silly things kids and kitties do.

I can say Olaf is very natural as our stress reliever because every time I went home from school she welcomed me by crawling on my feet… She was like a playful cat that always manage to lift my spirits and I cannot help but smile as she plays with me, reminding me that home is a place where I can unwind and feel loved. It's in those moments that all the day's worries seem to fade away.

And aside from that, last week I found a cute baby costume with wig and hat that was included in the old box, so I was thinking this will look good with Olaf, and tada! It really looks good on her. I'm so glad I decided to try it on her; the colors complement her perfectly. We took some adorable pictures.

This is really something that I can treasure forever, and I don’t have any regrets that we adopted her and made her like our own. There’s nothing quite like having a cat around the house. My cat is the queen of the place—and she knows it. Everytime she wakes up to her afternoon naps, everything runs on her schedule like a baby. Even though this cat can be a little sassy at times- I wouldn't exchange her for anything. She is like my little boss and honestly I think she runs the whole house—and I'm just lucky to live in it.
