Flatcat is a robot being built not to mimic a real animal's behavior. It invents its own behavior, according to the environment and interaction you provide. Its motions are strongly coupled with physics, with mechanical forces to be precise. And when left alone for while, flatcat starts to invent new tricks and has a playful life of its own. A flatcat does not fake emotions to attract. It evokes emotions by doing weird things and brings a smile into peoples' faces through unforeseeable actions.
