Stray cat update, spilling the tea.

Hello pet lovers.

It has been a while ago that I posted about a stray kittenwho was crying in front of our door at three in the morning. A lot of things happen since then but most of all we found out that the cat wasn't a stray at all.

It started a couple of weeks earlier, A friend of us sadly lost her kitten. It was a stray kitten that she tried to feed and try to gain trust with so she could give here a golden basket at here house. After 1 and a half years of taking care of the cat, she suddenly disappeared. We put up flyers and Facebook posts to try and find here. To bad, she is still not found.

Than all of a sudden we got a kitten in front of our door at 3 in the night...

We went to the vet and she told us that this kitten wasn't a stray cat at all. He looks to healthy for that. And when I put up the litter box that I bought, he immediately went on it and did his business there. He was already used to it. On the Facebook post that we put up, we didn't got any response of people who lost their cat. But one day, when I was walking the dog, I spotted a norther flyer from people who lost their cat. It was an older flyer because of the coloring was off, but the cat on it was a Siamese cat. We immediately called them but they didn't seem to be happy that we did. They said their cat was a female and that she was grey. Their two daughters missed the cat very badly. So to bad it was not a match with our cat. But looking at the pictures they put up, the cat looked very similar to the one we found.

And then a neighbor came in the picture, telling us to give the cat to our friend who just lost her cat. But she, of courses, said no. She just wanted here own cat back. But we were a bit suspicious of this all and we started digging on Facebook. There we found out that the neighbor was family with the people who just put up the flyers of the Siamese female kitten. So why would the neighbor say to us to give the cat to our friend instead of giving the cat tho the two children who just lost their own Siamese cat?

And on top of that, I caught that same neighbor putting a bag of cat litter and a can of kitten food in front of our door. First we taught that is was nice of hem to give us that but then we realized that the bag of litter was already opened. And the neighbor doesn't even have a cat.

And then it dawned on us. The previous owners probably wanted to get rid of the cat. Yes, he is a bit of an attention-seeker, and he bites a lot, but that's just a matter of training. The neighbors probably kept the cat for a while because they knew someone who was willing to take it in, our friend who had lost hers. They didn't even asked us, they just thought, lets dump the kitten there, they will probably take him. We are not confronting anybody with this story but we did say to the neighbor that those who dumped him on us are horrible people. Without telling here we suspect something.

And now I officially adopted him and we gave him a chip. Next week he will get his final vaccination and after that we will have him castrated. He has found his forever home with us now.

We got him the old basket of our dog. He loves it in there. He sleeps there all night.

People were walking outside our window. He found that really strange.

And sometimes he is laying in our neck. It's like a warm scarf

His favorite pillow matches his eyes. it's outside on the the table in the patio. He doesn't come out jet, first his nuts need to come off.

And we named him Leo, after an actor from a series we are watching. Thank you for reading this post and for you comments.
