Hello to all Hivers friends. I present myself in this community #HivePets, I am Gianfranco Briceño, Today I want to show you some of my copies. I love fish, working with them is magnificent, they are animals that see them calm and help you relax after having a strong and long day. Every day I spend at least two hours watching them swim, admiring their striking colors, their fins, their tails ... All depending on the species you have. I have been a breeder for 5 years, I am dedicated to the reproduction of oviparous and viviparous fish.
Today I come to show you a post dedicated only to my pair of American cyclids called (Archocentrus Nigrofasciatus) or better known as "Albino Convicts" .

They are freshwater fish, extremely aggressive and territorial, the males can grow up to 12 cm and the females up to approximately 8 cm, they are omnivorous, cold-water fish and their geographical distribution is very wide in America.
Escogí esta especie de peces para hacer un post porque la primera vez que tuve unos, me enamore de ellos, me encanto su cuerpo, sus colores, su manera de cuidar a sus crías recién nacidas... Para mi es un pez perfecto a pesar de ser agresivo y territorial, invito a todos los Hivers de esta comunidad que amen los peces a tener uno.
I chose this species of fish to make a post because the first time I had some, I fell in love with them, I loved their body, their colors, their way of caring for their newborn babies ... For me it is a perfect fish despite from being aggressive and territorial, I invite all the Hivers of this community who love fish to have one.

Qué interesante! Soy totalmente ignorante del mundo de los peces! Me da curiosidad saber en qué tipo de ambientes suelen vivir los convictos albinos y cómo interactúan con su entorno al ser peces agresivos! 🤔
Hola amigo @luis.colina212. Con gusto te respondo.
Los convictos viven en ríos con mucha fluidez de agua, habitan en zonas rocosas con cuevas o escondites, les gusta el arena fina para excavar y hacer especies de hoyos, también viven dentro de troncos huecos... Su comportamiento territorial es siempre, nunca dejan de ser malos, atacan a todos los peces de su tamaño, a veces pueden pelear con especies de mayor tamaño. Cuando están en época de reproducción se hacen mas agresivos para defender a sus huevos y luego a sus crías. Espero que te haya ayudado esta información amigo. Saludos!
