(Eng-Esp) My cat's mischief - La travesura de mi gato

I didn't remember this day anymore. Looking for photos of my vegetable plants, I suddenly found these photos. I took them one day and forgot them. My cat would have been about 3 years old at the time.

I was inside the house and was about to go out to the garden. It was when I noticed that my cat had a bag on his body, and I never knew how he did it. I never knew how he put that bag on his body in such a way.

That was what caught my attention at first. But my astonishment did not stop there. I took pictures of him because it made me laugh. After the photos, I caught up with him, and he still did not come out.

That door where he is located, when there is a breeze, the door opens and makes a back-and-forth movement. That's when he takes advantage of the breeze and goes out into the garden.

When I grab him to take the bag off his body, I notice that it is heavy. I take it from him, open it, and look inside. I realize it is a bag with the sandwich bread that was on the dining table.

He knows he was doing something wrong, because immediately when I put it back on the floor, he put his body through the space in the door and went to the garden.

This was the first time he had ever done this. I think he must have once seen my other cat steal a bag of cheese. From the table. I had just bought it. When I went to get the cheese, I couldn't find it. Someone told me the cat was eating something white in the garden. I went to his side, and there was my cheese.

It was the first time that my little copy stole a cheese from the table. Same with my Meme. It was the first time he stole my bread. He wasn't going to eat it, he was just curious, since he doesn't eat bread or any other food other than his cat kibble or his lizards, because he doesn't even hunt mice.

With this action of my cat Meme, I realized that cats are more curious than hungry. He must have smelled that the bag did not contain meat, but he kept on trying to take the bag. In what a great way he was doing it. Only I got there in time and took it away from him.

I never saw him do another one of these things. I spoke to him as one would speak to a person in that situation. I don't think he understands my language, but he never took a bag again, and I never lost anything from the kitchen.

I don't know if it's just me, but that's how I usually talk to my plants. I also talk to my animals in the house. With my cats, with my turtles, with my quails. I know they don't understand me, but I like to do it. Am I crazy? Maybe I am. It's my madness without bothering anyone. In any case, I bother them when they have bothered me first.

Ya no recordaba este día. Buscando las fotos de mis plantas de verduras encontré de pronto estas fotos. Las tomé un día y las olvide. Mi gato tendría para esa oportunidad cerca de 1 año de edad.

Yo estaba dentro de casa y estaba por salir hacia el jardín. Fue cuando observo que mi gato tenía una bolsa en el cuerpo, nunca supe como lo hizo. O sea como hizo para colocarse esa bolsa de tal manera.

Eso fue lo que me llamó la atención en primera instancia. Pero mi asombro no quedó allí. Le tomé las fotos porque me causó risa ese hecho. Después de las fotos, lo alcancé y aún él no salía.

Esa puerta en donde él está ubicado, cuando hace brisa, la puerta se abre y hace un movimiento de vaivén. Es cuando el aprovecha introduce su cuerpo y sale al jardín.

Cuando lo agarro para sacarle la bolsa del cuerpo, noto que está pesada. Se la retiro, la abro y miro dentro. Me doy cuenta que es una bolsa con el pan de sandwhich que estaba en la mesa de comedor.

Él sabe que estaba haciendo algo malo, porque de inmediato cuando lo volví a colocar en el piso, él introdujo su cuerpo por el espacio de la puerta y se fue para el jardín.

Esto que estaba haciendo era primera vez que lo hacía. Creo que una vez debió haber visto a mi otro gato robarse una bolsa con queso. De la mesa. La acababa de comprar. Cuando fui a buscar el queso no lo encontré. Alguien me dijo que el gato estaba comiendo algo blanco en el jardín. Llegué hasta su lado y allí estaba mi queso.

Era la primera vez que mi copito se robaba un queso de la mesa. Igual pasa con mi Meme. Era la primera vez que se robaba mi pan.

No se lo iba a comer, solo tendría curiosidad, ya que él no come ni pan ni ningún otro alimento que no sean sus croquetas de gatarina o sus lagartijas. Porque ni ratones caza.

Con esta acción de mi gato Meme, me di cuenta que los gatos son más curiosos que hambrientos. El debió oler que la bolsa no contenía carne pero siguió con el intento de llevarse la bolsa. En que forma tan bien lograda lo estaba haciendo. Solo que llegué a tiempo y se la quité.

Nunca más lo ví hacer otra de estas cosas. Yo le hablé como se le habla a una persona en esa situación. No creo que él me entienda el lenguaje, pero nunca más volvió a llevarse una bolsa ni se me extravió nada de la cocina.

No se si son cosas mías pero así cómo suelo hablar con mis plantas. También hablo con mis animales en la casa. Con mis gatos, con mis tortugas, con mis codornices. Sé que no me entienden pero me gusta hacerlo. Estoy loca? Quizás. Es mi locura sin molestar a nadie. En todo caso les molesto a ellos cuando ellos me han molestado primero a mí.
