El pasado domingo salí temprano, iba camino al parque a hacer Tai chi, cuando llegué a la esquina donde doblo para tomar la otra calle, había dos hombres y un pequeño gatito anaranjado sentado al lado de la rueda de un auto que estaba estacionado ahí junto a la acera, ellos miraban al gatito como si no supieran qué hacer y a la vez, me dió la impresión de que parecían preocupados porque corría peligro estando ahí ya que es un paso constante de autos y motos, a pesar de todo eso, lo que también me llamó la atención es que lo único que hacían era mirarlo y mas nada. Obviamente que al pasar justo al lado de ellos me dió curiosidad y les pregunté por el gatito, a lo que me respondieron que el gatito ya estaba ahí cuando ellos llegaron temprano. No podía irme y simplemente dejarlo en ese lugar, mi conciencia no me dejaría en paz ni un segundo 😬, así que me lo llevé 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Hello hivers. Last Sunday, I left early, heading to the park to do Tai Chi. When I got to the corner where I turn to take the other street, there were two men and a small orange kitten sitting next to the wheel of a car parked there by the sidewalk. They were looking at the kitten as if they didn't know what to do, and at the same time, I got the impression they were worried because he was in danger there, since it's a constant flow of cars and motorcycles. Despite all that, what also caught my attention was that all they did was look at him and nothing else. Obviously, as I walked right past them, I was curious and asked them about the kitten. They replied that the kitten was already there when they arrived early. I couldn't just leave him there, my conscience wouldn't let me rest for a second 😬, so I took him with me 🤷🏻‍♀️.

En el camino iba pensando qué haría con este hermoso niño anaranjado y me puse a hablar con él diciéndole que no se preocupara, que ya estaba seguro en mis brazos 😊. Estuvo tranquilo todo el camino y lo único que hacía era levantar su cabecita para mirarme 🙃🥰. Cuando llegamos, el profesor de Tai chi me estaba esperando y se sorprendió al verme con este amiguito, le conté y nos pusimos a hacer Tai chi, a diferencia de la mayoría de gatitos pequeños que se ponen a maullar, este pequeñín se metía entre nuestras piernas siguiendo los pasos y haciendo Tai chi, a su estilo claro está 😂. Inmediatamente dije, "este es el gato Tai chi, un gato muy zen 🧘🏻‍♀️🤭". Lo curioso fue que mientras estábamos en el parque, y veía que se alejaba, le decía, "Tai chi, vente", y él venía jajaja 🙈.

On the way there, I was thinking about what to do with this beautiful orange kitten, so I started talking to him, telling him not to worry, that he was safe in my arms 😊. He was calm the whole way, and all he did was lift his little head to look at me 🙃🥰. When we arrived, the Tai Chi instructor was waiting for me and was surprised to see me with this little friend. I told him about it, and we started doing Tai Chi. Unlike most kittens who start meowing, this little guy scurried between our legs, following the steps and doing Tai Chi, in his own way, of course 😂. I immediately said, "This is the Tai Chi cat, a very zen cat 🧘🏻‍♀️🤭." The funny thing was that while we were in the park, and I saw him wandering off, I'd say, "Tai Chi, come here," and he'd come right back, hahaha 🙈.

El profesor ya tiene en su casa un gato de más o menos 8 meses que yo le conseguí en mayo, así que le dije si quería adoptar a este pequeñito para que le hiciera compañía a su gato, me dijo que lo pensaría pero que estaba muy pequeño y le daba miedo que lo fuese a lastimar el gato de su vecino, que es un gato muy grande y que suele entrar a su casa a pelearse con su gato 🥴. De regreso el gatito se quedó tranquilo en mis manos y miraba todo a su alrededor, los domingos no hay tanta gente en la calle así que todo es más pausado. Cuando llegué a mi casa sabía que mi mamá iba a discutir conmigo jajaja, pero le expliqué y se calmó.

The professor already has an eight-month-old cat at home that I got for him in May, so I asked him if he wanted to adopt this little one to keep his cat company. He said he'd think about it, but that the kitten was very small and he was afraid his neighbor's cat, a very big cat that often comes into his house to fight with his cat, might hurt him 🥴. On the way back, the kitten stayed calm in my hands and looked around. Sundays aren't as crowded, so everything is more relaxed. When I got home, I knew my mom was going to argue with me, hahaha, but I explained and she calmed down.

Mientras estuvimos en el parque, y después de terminar el Tai chi, me senté un rato a conversar con el profesor y me di cuenta que el gatito tenía muchas pulgas 🙈🥴😬, así que una vez que llegué a mi casa con el gatito, y después de ponerle agua y comida, esperé un rato y calenté agua para darle un baño, y así podía aprovechar para quitarle todas las pulgas y dejarlo limpiecito. Antes de eso lo puse en mi estado de WhatsApp para ver si alguien lo quería adoptar porque lamentablemente no me lo podía quedar. A los pocos minutos una señora amiga mía me escribió diciéndome que le gustó a su hija y lo quería adoptar, le dije que estaba esperando la respuesta del profesor, y si él no lo adoptaba, se lo daría a ella 😊.

While we were at the park, after finishing Tai Chi, I sat and chatted with the instructor for a while and noticed the kitten had a lot of fleas 🙈🥴😬. So, once I got home with the kitten, after giving him food and water, I waited a bit and heated some water to give him a bath, that way, I could get rid of all the fleas and make him nice and clean. Before that, I posted him on my WhatsApp status to see if anyone wanted to adopt him because, unfortunately, I couldn't keep him. A few minutes later, a lady friend of mine messaged me saying her daughter liked him and wanted to adopt him. I told her I was waiting for the instructor's reply, and if he didn't adopt him, I would give the kitten to her 😊.

Tai chi se portó muy bien durante el baño, le dí dos manos de champú, la primera para quitarle bien el sucio, ya que al estar en la calle tenía las patas y la cola muy sucias, y la segunda mano, para dejarlo bien limpio y oloroso 😌👌🏻. Lo sequé y me lo puse en las piernas para empezar a quitarle las pulgas, a esa edad tienen poquito pelaje y es mucho mas fácil agarrarlas, y bueno, él es anaranjado, así que eso también me ayudó jajaja, le saqué unas 40 pulgas 😬, demasiadas para un cuerpo tan pequeño, pero no dejé ni una, quedó limpio 😁. Él estaba relajado y disfrutando 🤭.

Tai Chi was very well-behaved during his bath. I gave him two coats of shampoo, the first to thoroughly remove the dirt, since his paws and tail were very dirty from being outside, and the second to leave him nice and clean and smelling wonderful 😌👌🏻. I dried him off and put him on my legs to start removing the fleas. At that age, they have very little fur, making much easier to catch the fleas, and well, he's orange, so that helped too, hahaha. I got about 40 fleas off 😬, too many for such a small body, but not a single one left. He was clean 😁. He was relaxed and enjoying himself 🤭.

Pude notar que Tai chi es un gatito muy cariñoso, como todo gato macho anaranjado 🥰, a cada rato se quería montar sobre mis piernas y ahí se ponía a dar vueltas mostrándome su pancita jajaja, es un verdadero encanto 💛🧡. Después se sentó donde pegaban los rayos del sol para calentarse y disfrutar del silencio de los domingos 😌.

I could notice that Tai Chi is a very affectionate kitten, like all orange male cats 🥰. He kept wanting to climb onto my legs and would roll around, showing me his little belly, hahaha. He's a real sweetheart 💛🧡. Then he sat down where the sun's rays were shining to warm up and enjoy the Sunday peace and quiet 😌.

Al final de la tarde el profesor me escribió para decirme que no iba a poder adoptar a Tai chi así que le escribí a mi amiga y ella estaba feliz, me dijo que el lunes su hija vendría a buscarlo después de salir del trabajo. Poco después me escribió otra persona que quería adoptarlo pero le dije que ya le había conseguido familia. Como las tres gatas que tenemos en la casa andaban algo inquietas con la llegada de Tai chi, lo puse en el baño con una alfombra, al principio maulló bastante pero al rato se quedó quieto, cuando fuí a revisar estaba profundamente dormido 😴, tanto que ni se dió cuenta cuando yo entré 🤫🤭. Más tarde lo volví a soltar para jugar con él, volvió a comer y también pude ver que sabe usar el arenero 👍🏻. Lo dejamos durmiendo en el baño con una alfombra para que estuviese calentito, agua y una bandeja con aserrín.

At the end of the afternoon, the professor texted me to say he wouldn't be able to adopt Tai Chi, so I texted my friend, and she was happy. She told me her daughter would come pick him up on Monday after work. Shortly after, someone else texted wanting to adopt him, but I told her I'd already found him a family. Since our three cats were a bit restless with Tai Chi's arrival, I put him in the bathroom with a rug. At first, he meowed quite a bit, but after a while, he was quiet. When I went to check on him, he was fast asleep 😴, so much so that he didn't even notice me come in 🤫🤭. Later, I let him out again to play with him. He ate again, and I could also see that he knows how to use the litter box 👍🏻. We left him sleeping in the bathroom with a rug to keep him warm, water, and a litter box.

La mañana del lunes cuando abrí la puerta del baño Tai chi estaba durmiendo sobre mi toalla jajaja 🤦🏻‍♀️, debe ser que tenía frío y la jaló para arroparse 😂. Seguía durmiendo profundamente porque ni notó mi presencia jajaja. Cuando empezó a maullar lo saqué y le dí de comer en el balcón, después me perseguía por toda la casa, como todo gato bebé es muy curioso y quiere explorar todo a su alrededor. Se porta tan bien y es tan encantador que nos conquistó, pero no podemos caer en esa trampa 🙈🤣. En la tarde lo saqué nuevamente al balcón para jugar con él antes de que lo vinieran a buscar, hasta le puse una franelita para hacerle unas fotos para otra publicación jejeje. Es tan lindo 💛🧡.

On Monday morning, when I opened the bathroom door, Tai Chi was sleeping on my towel, hahaha 🤦🏻‍♀️. He must have been cold and pulled it over to cover himself 😂. He was still fast asleep because he didn't even notice me, hahaha. When he started meowing, I took him out and fed him on the balcony. Afterward, he followed me all over the house. Like any baby cat, he's very curious and wants to explore everything around him. He's so well-behaved and so charming that he won us over, but we can't fall into that trap 🙈🤣. In the afternoon, I took him out onto the balcony again to play with him before they came to get him. I even put him a little t-shirt to take some pictures for another post, hehehe. He is so cute 💛🧡.

Cuando llegó la hora de bajar para entregar a Tai chi a su nueva familia, mi mamá y mi hermana no lo querían soltar 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂. Unos minutos antes me escribió otra persona para preguntarme si el gatito aún estaba en adopción 🙉, vaya que conquistó a mucha gente este pelirrojo jejeje. La hija de mi amiga llegó con su niña de 9 años, la cual estaba muy emocionada de llevarse a su gatito, me dijeron que les encantó el nombre que yo le puse así que lo iban a llamar así, Tai chi 😃, eso me alegró mucho porque ese nombre surgió de una forma tan natural cuando ví que él se conectó con esa energía zen, que hubiese sido una lastima cambiárselo. Antes de que se llevaran a Tai chi les hablé un poquito de su personalidad y algunas otras recomendaciones y listo, ellas se fueron felices con su gatito y yo me sentía satisfecha de haber podido ayudar a este lindo amiguito 😸🥰.

When it was time to go downstairs to give Tai Chi to his new family, my mom and sister didn't want to let go of him 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂. A few minutes ago someone else wrote to me to ask if the kitten was still available for adoption 🙉, wow, this redhead really won over a lot of people hehehe. My friend's daughter arrived with her 9-year-old daughter, who was very excited to take her kitten home. They told me they loved the name I had given him, so they were going to call him Tai Chi 😃. That made me so happy because the name came to me so naturally when I saw him connect with that Zen energy, it would have been a shame to change it. Before they took Tai Chi, I told them a little about his personality and gave them some other recommendations, and that was it. They left happy with their kitten, and I felt satisfied to have been able to help this sweet little kitty 😸🥰.

Tai chi ahora está en una familia que lo quiere mucho y que lo está consintiendo demasiado, tanto que me dicen que sus tres compañeros gatos están celosos de él 😂. A Tai chi le encanta sentarse junto a Adara, su hermanita humana a ver el celular jajaja, también le gusta dormir con toda la familia, un rato con el esposo de mi amiga, otro rato con ella y otro rato con la nieta y la hija jajaja, les dije que de seguro en las noches se pelean para ver quién va a dormir con Tai chi 😂😂.

Tai Chi is now in a loving family who pamper him very much, so much so that I'm told his three cat companions are jealous of him 😂. Tai Chi loves sitting next to Adara, his human sister, looking at her phone, hahaha. He also likes to sleep with the whole family, sometimes with my friend's husband, sometimes with her, and sometimes with her granddaughter and daughter, hahaha. I tell her they probably fight at night over who gets to sleep with Tai Chi 😂.

Nunca duden de ayudar a mejorar la vida de un animalito que esta en la calle, ellos son seres inocentes y nada llena mas el corazón y el alma que ver sus miradas de agradecimiento y saber que pusimos nuestro granito de arena para hacer de este mundo un lugar más bonito 🥰.
