Copito 🤍❄️ el gato del vecino de enfrente / Copito 🤍❄️ the neighbor's cat across the street

Saludos hivers. Por mi vecindario han pasado muchos gatos, cada uno de ellos con su historia y su origen, al igual que nosotros jejeje. Hoy quiero presentarles a Copito, el gato del vecino de la casa de enfrente.

Hello hivers. Many cats have passed through my neighborhood, each of them with their history and origin, just like us hehehe. Today I want to introduce you to Copito, the neighbor's cat across the street.

Copito es un lindo gato blanco de intensos ojos azul celeste, su dueño vive en una vieja casa que está frente a mi edificio, en la parte de adelante de la casa él vendía pescado (desde hace unos tres meses dejó de hacerlo), un día que fui a comprar pescado me puse a hablar con él y como Copito estaba ahí empezamos a conversar y me contó la historia de Copito.

Copito is a cute white cat with intense sky blue eyes, his owner lives in an old house that is in front of my building, in the front part of the house he sold fish (he stopped doing so about three months ago), one day when I went to buy fish I started talking to him and since Copito was there we started talking and he told me Copito's story.

Cuando empezó a venir al edificio no me podía acercar mucho a él porque se iba / When he started coming to the building I couldn't get very close to him because he would leave

Un día alguien llegó a su casa/negocio, le trajo varios gatitos y le dijo si se los podía dejar para que los diera en adopción, aprovechando que está en pleno centro de la ciudad y que mucha gente pasa por su negocio a comprarle pescado, él dijo que no había problema y se los quedó. Bueno, a sus hijos les gustó uno de esos gatitos y como es todo blanco le pusieron Copito ❄️.

One day someone came to his house/store, brought him several kittens and asked him if he could leave them for adoption, taking advantage of the fact that it's in the heart of the city and that many people stop by his store to buy fish. He said no problem and kept them. Well, their children liked one of those kittens and since it's all white they named it Copito ❄️.

En el vecindario había dos gatas, Negrita, que desapareció, y la gata de la casa que está al lado de mi edificio. Cada vez que una de estas gatas estaba en celo, Copito cruzaba la calle y venía al edificio a pelear con Gardel por el amor de estas señoritas 💘🤭. Eran peleas muy fuertes que Gardel siempre ganaba y hacia valer su título del galán del barrio 😎 jajaja.

There were two female cats in the neighborhood, Negrita, who disappeared, and the cat from the house next to my building. Every time one of these cats was in heat, Copito was crossing the street and come to the building to fight with Gardel for the love of these ladies 💘🤭. They were very strong fights that Gardel always won and asserted his title as the neighborhood heartthrob 😎 hahaha.

Se llama Copito porque es blanco como un copo de nieve 🤍❄️ / He's name is Copito (little snowflake) because he's white like a snowflake 🤍❄️

Gardel, que también desapareció, era un gato negro mucho más grande y viejo que Copito, recuerdo una vez cuando bajé a alimentar a Negrita y me encontré con estos dos galanes en plena pelea rodando por la rampa del estacionamiento 😬🥴, el blanco y el negro, el yin y el yan jajaja, le pegué un fuerte grito a Gardel y soltó al pobre Copito, que antes de saltar a través del portón para cruzar la calle y meterse a su casa, se orinó y dejó todo el lugar ipregnado de orina jajaja. Lo que más risa me dió después fue cuando Gardel vino hacia mí caminando lenta y elegantemente (a pesar de la cojera de una de las patas de atrás) y con la boca llena de pelo blanco que le arrancó al pobre Copito jajaja 😬, lástima que no cargaba mi teléfono para tomarle una foto 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Gardel, who also disappeared, was a black cat much bigger and older than Copito, I remember one time when I went down to feed Negrita and I found these two gallants in the middle of a fight rolling down the parking ramp 😬🥴, the white one and the black, the yin and the yan hahaha, I screamed loudly at Gardel and he released poor Copito, who before jumping through the gate to cross the street and go into his house, urinated himself and left the whole place covered in urine ha ha ha. What made me laugh the most afterwards was when Gardel came towards me walking slowly and elegantly (despite the limp in one of his back legs) and with his mouth full of white hair that he ripped out of poor Copito hahaha 😬, it's a shame that I didn't charge my phone to take a photo 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Cuando me agarró confianza empezó a dejarse acariciar, es un gato muy dulce y cariñoso 🤍 / When he gained confidence in me he started to let himself be petted, he is a very sweet and affectionate cat 🤍

Con la desaparición de Gardel, Copito se convirtió en el nuevo galán del vecindario, sin embargo hay un gato siamés que siempre anda por ahí tratando de quitarle el puesto, hace tiempo tuvieron una pelea sangrienta, no pude hacer nada más que verlos desde mi balcón, pensé que se iban a matar porque los gritos eran horribles y el gato siamés tenía agarrado a Copito por el cuello 😵, de no ser porque empezó a llover seguramente uno de los dos hubiese muerto.

With the disappearance of Gardel, Copito became the new heartthrob in the neighborhood, however there is a Siamese cat that is always around trying to take his place. A long time ago they had a bloody fight, I couldn't do anything but watch them from my balcony, I thought they were going to kill each other because the screams were horrible and the Siamese cat had Copito by the neck 😵, if it hadn't started to rain surely one of the two would have died.

Al día siguiente le pregunté al dueño de Copito por el gato y me dijo que estaba todo herido y sucio durmiendo atrás en el patio de la casa. Luego de ese lío tardó mucho tiempo en venir nuevamente para mí edificio. Como les comenté, el dueño de Copito ya no vende pescado así que la casa permanece con la puerta cerrada y por lo tanto Copito no ha venido últimamente a mi edificio, de hecho, tengo tiempo sin verlo, aunque bastará que alguna de las gatas esté en celo para que aparezca 🤦🏻‍♀️.

The next day I asked Copito's owner about him and he said that he was all hurt and dirty sleeping in the back yard of the house. After that mess, he took him a long time to come back to my building. As I told you, the owner of Copito no longer sells fish so the house remains with the door closed and therefore Copito has not come to my building lately. In fact, I have not seen him for a long time, although it will be enough for one of the cats to be there in heat for him to appear 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Son tantos los gatos que han pasado por mi edificio, son tantas las historias que contar, cada uno de ellos ha sido un personaje interesante, algunos más cercanos a mi y otros de ratos.
