Today I come to tell you a little more about my pet Chelsea. I found her on the street very small on January 3, 2021, she stole my heart and I decided to adopt her. She was so small that she fit in the palm of my hand.
El día de hoy vengo a contarles un poco más acerca de mi mascota Chelsea. La encontré en la calle muy pequeña el 03 de enero del 2021, robo mi corazón y decidí adoptarla. Era tan pequeña que cabía en la palma de mi mano.
My husband and I decided to name her Chelsea because in one of my favorite shows "Two and a half men" in case you don't know it, it's a comedy show in which Charlie the main character is a womanizer who lives with his brother Alan and nephew Jake. Charlie has a girlfriend named Chelsea, who was the only one who got him out of the philandering life he had been living for years. Since it was the only time Charlie managed to find a serious relationship, I liked the name of that girl, and that's why my pet is named Chelsea. Actually, if I ever get another dog and it's a male, I won't hesitate to name him Charlie.
Mi esposo y yo decidimos llamarla Chelsea ya que en unos de mi programas favoritos "Two and a half men" por si no lo conoces, es un programa de comedia en el cual, Charlie el protagonista es un mujeriego que vive con su hermano Alan y su sobrino Jake. Charlie tiene una novia llamada Chelsea, que fue la única que lo sacó de la vida de mujeriego en la cual tenía años. Como fue la única vez que Charlie logró encontrar una relación sería, el nombre de esa chica me gustó, y por eso mi mascota se llama Chelsea. La verdad si llego a tener otro perro y es macho, no dudaré en ponerle Charlie.
Chelsea is now 4 months old with me and my husband, she is big, eats a lot and is very playful, she loves to bite everything in her path and she is very happy. When we found her she was all white but as she grew up she has yellow spots on her stomach, chest and tail. She even has yellow eyelashes.
Chelsea ya tiene 4 meses conmigo y mi esposo, está grande, come mucho y es muy juguetona, le encanta morder todo lo que encuentra a su paso y es muy feliz. Cuando la encontramos era toda blanca pero a medida que fue creciendo tienes manchas amarilla en su estómago, pecho y cola. Hasta tiene las pestañas amarillas.
One of the many funny things that has happened to me with Chelsea is when I gave her cold water to drink. In her water bottle she has it at room temperature, but one day I was drinking water and I gave her some, it was cold, I don't know what happened to her and she started running around barking, I don't know what the cold water did to her body but she was very happy and very energetic.
Unas de las tantas cosas divertidas que me ha pasado con Chelsea es cuando le di de tomar agua fría. En su envase de agua la tiene a temperatura ambiente, pero un día yo estaba tomando agua y le di de tomar un poco, estaba fría, no se que le sucedió y empezó a correr por todos lados ladrando, no se que habrá ocasionado el agua fría en su organismo pero estaba muy feliz y muy enérgica.
Chelsea likes to eat everything and I say everything because one day I saw her eating a stone, luckily I saw it in time and took it away before she hurt herself, but what Chelsea loves most in this world is bread, when we buy bread or she sees someone with bread in her hand, she starts barking and runs in circles showing her excitement and desire to be given bread, it can be sweet or salty bread, in all its presentations she loves bread, I tell my husband that she went out to him, because he also loves bread.
A Chelsea le gusta comer de todo y digo de todo porque un día la vi comiéndose una piedra, por suerte la vi a tiempo y se la quité antes que se lastimara, pero lo que más ama Chelsea en este mundo es el pan, cuando compramos pan o ve a alguien con panes en su mano, empieza a ladrar y corre en círculos mostrando su emoción y deseo de que le den pan, puede ser pan dulce o salado, en todas sus presentaciones ama el pan, le digo a mi esposo que salió a el, porque él también ama el pan.
Our dear Chelsea has brought joy to our lives, since she arrived very malnourished and scared, we didn't think she would grow up so beautiful and she has put on a lot of weight, she doesn't look the same as she did 4 months ago. Many people who have seen Chelsea's evolution are amazed at how she arrived and how she is now. This shows us that the best medicine and care is love.
Nuestra querida Chelsea ha traído alegría a nuestras vidas, desde que llegó muy desnutrida y asustada, no pensamos que crecería tan hermosa y ha engordado bastante, no parece la misma que llegó hace 4 meses. Muchas personas que han visto la evolución de Chelsea se quedan asombrados de como llego y como está ahora. Eso nos demuestra que la mejor medicina y cuidado es el amor.
